I want to start by stating that the staff at this location are great, our saleswoman, Laura, was very helpful. However, this review is about the delivery process and the corporation as a whole. My husband and I ordered furniture for our new home (whole bedroom set and living room set) about 2-3 weeks before moving in. Sterling, VA store manager Jeremy gave us a damaged coffee table and passed it off as new after we bought new, waited and was told it was delivered to the store but mysteriously disappeared, then was miraculously found only moments later in a shabby, bs box used to hide the damage it had when we picked it up. I would never buy from them again. First off, we bought furniture that was supposed to be white white. It was off-white. They broke the door when entering our house and told me to buy the piece, install it and then call the company to get reimbursed. We also ordered an ottoman that was supposed to be in within 3 weeks. I bought a montage protection plan the sales person at ashleys swore it was awsome.. Lil did i know it was a scam. i called today, because my toddler got marker on seat cushion. They sent me an email that said i need to take a pic measure the stain put a brief description blah blah blah blah blah...y in the world should i have to do their job plus thats not wat i signed up for. and i paid about... We moved to VA and I bought $5000 of living room furniture from Ashley furniture store in Alexandria. I had my furniture to be delivered from 7 am to 11 am. I had a family member waiting on the couch for their knock on the door. they did not knock or ring my door bell at all , they called my house to let me know the driver left the location. was happy that this Dover store had a selection with delivery available to my new home in Milton DE. Currently, living in VA until my home is constructed I visited an Ashley Furniture showroom in Woodbridge, VA instead of making a 2.5 hrs drive to Dover. I purchased the mattress on a Saturday, delivered Wednesday and looked like their was a body inside of it. This is an expensive Simmons Holly Glen Mattress. Ashley delivered a new mattress on Friday, it had the same problem and the delivery people would not return it. On Sunday, no resolution. I have a $2600 un usable mattress in my bedroom. I have same problem and same period of time is almost 3 years since i bought my couch and sofa. The blended leather strated to peal off. The store we bought from is closed and so we don't know what to do. It was soppused to be "Ashley" and they soppused to use "good and durable materials". I recently purchased a kitchen set in September 2013. I called to explain the problem with a chair having a 'Pull' in the fabric. They said I'm not covered for this type of problem.
