We are very unhappy with the Ashley furniture we purchased. It is poorly made and the company did not stand behind it for a simple request when we asked for a spare hinge for the armoire - we would have been happy to pay for it however they didn't even want to help us out. the reason your leather furniture is falling apart because most of it is fake. ashley has the lowest quality leather in the industry they will sale you leather protection that is unnecessary because it not leather beaware make sure you have your sale associate to break down the contents. before you think your buying leather from ashley if you want the best try viewpoint more money but it is the... I'm not really sure if this is exactly Ashley's fault but we recently purchased several Ashley Glen Eagle office furniture pieces. After setting it up and taking some time to really look at the furniture we noticed many differences compared to the display model at Roomful Express. My husband and I bought a new living room set at Ashley's June of this year (2008). Four months later the couch looks like it is a year and a half old. The set is the "Sabrina-Maize" upholstery collection. We have no children and 1 dog that is not allowed on the couch. There is no reason for the sofa to look like it does. Ashley's Furniture in Fremont, CA. We purchased our microfiber sofa on October 5, 2008, and still today November 6, 2008 the sofa is not here. We were told it will be delivered on October 13, 2008. I and my wife went to the ashley warehouse close out sale on trade port drive orlando, fl and were given the worst customer service treatment we have ever had in our entire lives per Deborah Persichili. Ashley's Furniture in Fremont CA, they have decent furniture, but if you end up buying anything you will not get your furniture for 3 months. I had a similiar experience, and they bounced me back and forth to customer care and the Fremont Store, they don't care if your furniture is late!
