We ordered a mattress set on july 19th from Ashley furniture in Roanoke Virginia. They said it would take approximatly four to six weeks before they would arrive, it is now sept. 16th and we still have not received them and we can't get a refund either. We bought a Serta king firm mattress with a full pillow-top. After 10 months it fell apart and the 'technician' deemed it poor quality. The 'store' customer service called us inquiring what the outcome was from the 'corporate' customer service. This was very confusing to us. My finance and I bought a living room set from Ashley's. Upon delivery, we realized the table they delivered was not the one we ordered. It was however the table that was on our bill. We went to the store and the manager apologized but he explained that two different tables were tagged with the same item number! Ashley Furniture sell nothing but cheap junk furniture. Their consumer affairs office is a complete joke. I bought a recliner from them that completely fell apart. Like many of you we too purchased furniture from ashley at our local store in Kansas. What *** they delivered to us was horrible. Both our club chairs were defective. One had an obvious busted zipper. We called the store and spoke with the manager. She informed us of the restock fee to return merchandise. We bought leather furniture on 3/08 from Ashley furniture. $2000.00 dollars worth , now it looks 10 years old. We have requested a refund as we do not wish to shop there ever again. We were told we would only be issued a credit. I am steamed!!!!!! Why would I but more of this stuff? What about customer satisfaction? Where are our American manufacturers? they are crooks.ashley that is. spent $2,500 in reno nv store. i told salesman that i had ability to pay in full ,but was concidering paying most of 3/4 of bill and finasing small remaining balance. then paying off in 90 days .he gave me this big song and dance about how great that would be ,he said they report triple the sales amount,and then the fiance guy said all i would owe is the small... I ordered over 6k worth of furniture and have had multiple problems!!! One recliner was ripped and a sofa was missing some linkage and did not work properly.
