In May, I purchased an Ashley Dining Room set. Within 2 months the edging around the table top is peeling in two different places, and the top is beginning to crack. I filed a complaint and a week later, the techician came out looked at it and said it looked like i got something caught in it. WHAT? In December 2010,we bought a sofa and love seat from Ashley Furniture. The pieces were attractive and looked to be solid and well built. We have not had good luck buying furniture and thought that finally we had met with success. Wow were we mistaken. My Husband and I ordered a reclining Couch and 2 reclining Chairs. At the time we ordered there where no models available to see, the Sales person showed us a Couch that was similar. The day my furniture was delivered which was on the 10th of April 2011, I was very disappointed very uncomfortable the Couch and the Chairs are so narrow there is not much room to sit besides you able to see the metal bars underneath the couch and chairs. For a company this large, you'd think they'd have a more up to date web site. They do not show their prices, and the pictures of the furniture are small and hard to see. Then when I called to get a price on a sofa, (I guess that's what they want you to do)they put me on hold forever, got fed up waiting, so I hung up. I'm a customer whom purchased a mattress set and bed frame from Ashley furniture store two weeks ago. Delivery came around noon and two men set up the bed for me. I friendly greeted them and they said nothing. Thirty minutes later they were finished. They simply asked me to sign their work order and left. I thanked them but they had no reply. I had a really bad experience. The sales person I had was extremely nice. However, while she was showing me around helping me find my furniture, another lady came up and started yelling at at the other sales person. I later found out it was the manager at that store. i am pissed . i bought over $5,000 worth of furniture from a store in santa maria ca with a 5 year extended warrenty . 1 year latter my coach ripped and the corner of my dineing room table broke and come to find out the store that i bought it from went out of buisness and i can not get in contact with anyone to help me with the repairs. i have tryed other stores in bakersfeild and oakland and los angeles and they keep giving me the run around i... I purchases a leather couch and love seat from Ashley Furniture and 4 months after I got it, it started peeling. They repaired it once and the same thing happened again and they refused to repair it. I have never heard of Leather furniture peeling and that just tells me about the quality of the furniture at this store. I will never shop there again. I expended about $6000 in the Lubbock store. From the beggining, sales person was intermitently "helping" us and another client, at the end that originated numerous errors: 1. Queen size mattresses for full size beds! 2. Low table with high chairs. 3. Charge for extra unnecessary pieces 4. Brokne bed drawers on arrival. 5. Missing bed pieces 6. Ashley Furniture in Greenville, NC will lie to get you to buy furniture and will then act like it's your fault that the furniture is late. We bought furniture and they said it would be less than 2 weeks to get it. We are still waiting after 6 weeks. I called today and was told that it would be another 3 weeks, and that's if they are telling the truth this time! Do not ever go to Ashley Furniture! They are the worst in customer service,...
