ashley furniture is eager to sell to people on credit. they make it sound easy, terms, etc.

however when it is time to pay it is the most inconvienient payment process besides walking to the store and counting 300.00 in pennies.the stores wont accept payments. there is no payment center.there is no website on which to pay. you have 2 choices.mail a check, which they will tell you takes about 3 weeks to process; or, pay over the phone- which costs 15.00 EACH TIME. this is absurd, since the payment on my purchase was 18.00 a month.

15.00 to pay an 18.00 payment!and if you mail your check, which is guranteed to be late-they charge 39.00 late fee!

talk about a rock or a hard place!this is why i will never shop there again.there is no reason to so brazenly screw customers that create the business in the first place!

Wanted to add one more thing after they deliver this cheap stuff to your home don't think for one second well if I don't like it I will just return or exchange WILL NOT happen they can and will get ruder than any dedt collector you have ever experienced or ever heard of and THEY WILL NOT do either of the above they have special trained personal if that's what you want to call them to REALLY be rude if you want to do either of the above and you will get nowhere with them they ABSOLUTELY are not going to take that cheap stuff back nor exchange been there tried that DIDN'T happen and it want for anyone....

I totally agree this is one of the WORST companies I have ever dealt with ever and there furniture is the cheapest built I have ever seen or ever have come in contact with I know most will have to find this out the hard way and purchase something from them but trust me you will regret it oh yeah one more thing there items on display is made much better than what you will receive and they ABSOLUTELY will not let you have there showroom pieces due to them being of better quality and they know it don't believe me try it for yourself WANT happen........

You can make your payments online..After searching the bill, I found the tiny print on the back of the statment that said "pay online" free at: gogecapital.com.

You just enter your Ashley account # and the last 4 digits of your social.

I just set myself up for auto pay, and works just fine!

I myself had trouble with the midland store ASHLEY FURNITURE HOMESTORE5210 Preston DrMidland TX, USA 79707 4**-**7-7000 . It took a week to process the contract with the In House Finance since Midland never sent the paper work and the manager was never there for me to talk to.

I found out why they took so long to send the paper work when i was there to sing the contract which took 2 hour. I was all the people in the offices where they do the close out that they were all in the personal cell phone. Sales in the floor were very helpfull then again all they want is to screw people so they must be friedly and helpfull. We finally closed the contract with the in house and we found out that our furniture were to be delivered with in a month and not to what the sales invoice stated then we also found out the we were to give the payments before we were to recive our furniture ...

All I CAN SAY IS THAT THIS WILL BE MY LAST TIME DOING BUSINESS WITH ASHLEY ... On e tries to make business with a company in town to help out economy but they just screw around making people wanting to make business out of town.

We purchased furniture on a 6 month no interest loan. We received our first paper bill only 3 days before the bill was due so there was no way we could submit our payment by mail on time.

We called them and they were going to charge us $15 to make a phone payment. I asked if there was a way we could make a payment online, they hesitated and finally gave me the website. I logged on from there and made 6 successful on time payments. The final payment was due on November 20, 2010 then in January we received a bill for $271 for interest because we didn't make out payments on time and on top of that they charged us a late fee for not paying it in December.

We never received a December bill so how we would know that we had to pay this interest which we thought we avoided by making 6 on time payments. Well after we called, we found out that the final payment should've been made on November 4th, TWO weeks before the actual due date for the final payment. They told us there was nothing they could do for us and that we were held liable for that payment. They said we signed something stating that we knew of this final payment date.

They are out there to rob us of our money and they are doing it very sneaky and there is nothing we could do.

I want to put part blame on Ashley Furniture for this because they are dealing with a dishonest company by choice. BE CAREFUL and READ THE FINE PRINT!!!

A PURCHASED A SET OF FURNITURE TO BE PAID IN 12 PAYMENTS WITHOUT INTEREST . WHEN MY ACCOUNT WAS ABOUT TO PAID OFF , I HAD A PAYMENT CHARGED TO MY ACCOUNT ON OR ABOUT THE 9TH OF DECEMBER 2010 THIS IS BECAUSE I HAD AN AUTOMATIC DIRECT PAYMENT SET UP WITH CITIBANK .

I WAS CONFIDENT THAT MY NEXT AND LAST PAYMENT WAS DUE ON OR ABOUT THIS SAME DAY IN JAN. BUT THAT WAS MY MISTAKE , BECAUSE ACCORDING TO THEM THE LAST PAYMENT WAS DUE THE 28TH OF DECEMBER ALSO . TODAY A I CALLED CITIBANK , AND THEY TOLD ME THAT I WAS DUE WITH MORE THAN THREE HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS IN INTEREST . BE CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY , BECAUSE THEY WILL ROB YOU WITH THEIR HIDDEN CLAUSES .

THE CUSTOMER REPRESENTATIVE ONLY SAID SHE WAS SORRY AND THAT SHE COULD DO NOTHING FOR ME .

I AM STUCK WITH THE PAYMENT OF THIS INTEREST . ( BE CAREFUL )

most bank accounts have bill pay...why dont you try setting it up online through your bank it will send it right to them as long as you have an account number in about 2-3 days!!

My purchase from the Ashley store in Concord California was horrible. They never meet the delivery date, for this inconvience the manager (Jennifer )from corporate said she would return the delivery fee & and gave me a new delivery date.

When I called to confirm the date &mydelivery refund .Jennifer had no knowledge ofher saying she would return my delivery fee . she was a liar. fortunately I had her on recording saying Ashely would refund the delivery fee . Was I exposed her lie & indicated to her I had it on tape .

She said go to the store in Concord California to get my refund. ther in the Concord Store the staff was very rude . I wanted 35 minutes for the Corporate manager to get off the phone .All while I am waiting for this unprofessional Ashley corporate manager . His phone conversation was just him handling complaints that is all the staff were doing while I waited was handling customer complaints .

They had no shame .

A scam outfit ! do not shop at Ashley !!

We ask our selves, assuming they are true, is it worth the hassle.

I will say we did make a purchase from the Ashley store in west palm beach, and the service, delivery was great. We had no problems.. At the same time we then shopped what turned out to be a sister store, City furniture, where we also bought the additional service plan, and they have been terrific.. does that mean it will be great here in Baltimore, I wonder?? Only say because in Florida it was just perfect, consistent since we made about a dozen purchases last year, and where there was a no return policy of the store,' with the extended plan we called back about the stitching, within a day the service co called back made an appointment, and was out to inspect and determined it should be replaced...

do we take a shot in Baltimore.. ? Not good words from the complaints..

Ashley Furniture is the worst company to do business with. I never received a bill on how much I owed, how to pay my bill, what my monthly payment was, etc.

They end up charging my late fees because I never received any information and claim that they "sent one", it is my fault, and they will not remove the fee. F them.

I encountered the issue with not knowing where to make the payments for Ashley Furniture purchases. Then I wised up & just started making online payments via my banks online banking system.

Even with doing this I've had to call them a few times about charging me for late payments when they weren't. Yeah I know it sucks..

I dont know, I guess you have to know where and when maybe a carrier pigeon to get payment done. I will try citi.com to see if I can make a payment that way..

As far as Ashley goes, I dont think that they have terrible quaility, maybe in some areas they dont have the best service, but so does Mcdonalds but you keep going back there to eat. Just food for thought.

Citi Financial and Ashley Furniture are two different things. I work for a furniture company that uses citi.

Furniture companys don't take payment because they have nothing to do with credit card companys. That would be like going to your dealership to make a payment for your car. Its annoying to see you guys blame your sales people for a credit card companies ***. NOONE ever reads the statements and then blames the credit card companys sooo dumb.

Ashley like all furniture is cheap ..

You get what you pay for. If you want nice furniture built to last you have to pay the price for it. We live in a disposable society where people want things now and want to throw them away in a few years.

Thats what places like target and ikea and ashley( a step above) are catering too. so deal with it!

I had an order to be picked up in a week, instead it ended up taking almost 2. Then on my first bill, Citifinancial overcharged me by a thousand bucks, so I was left with a 0 balance and overdraft fees in my savings.And so I had to wait over a week to get my money, even after the mistake was theirs, oh and they made ME fax them proof from the overdrafts of course. Just to show the type of professionalism when dealing with both Ashley's and Citibank.
