Leather Sofa Peeling
I bought 2 Leather Sofas from Ashley's April of 2010 & purchased a warranty on them too $1,500 is what I paid for them. I had them no more then 2 years & they started peeling.
I called Ashley's to put in a report so they sent me paper work to fill out. I filled them out & sent them in to be told "Sorry we don't cover defeats in the sofas only accidental. So I told them my kid flopped down on the sofa to sit & it "accidentally" ripped. They laughed at me & said I was crazy to even think they would cover THEIR DEFEATED sofas with my response.
I have gotten no where with them! I have since posted pictures of my sofas on their Facebook Page every chance I get to show people what happens when they buy from this place.
Ashley continues to post to contact them on this issue which I have to only have the same supervisor that laughed at me in the first place. There has to be something that can be done about this dishonesty this place is doing to customers.

Delivery charge
When making a purchase one week and then trying to make a purchase the following week . Why would you not have a delivery fee for one purchase and have a delivery fee for the second purchase.
I would be happy to pick up this purchase at your store to not have to pay a delivery fee of $49. I was told this is the only way to receive furniture from Ashley . It has to be delivered to your house.
That is a hidden fee in which is not fair to the customer. Please explain what is your policy and why would it change from one week to the next .
- I did not llike the way i wad treated no respect

The unit was delivered in the allotted time.
We live 100 miles from the Ashley store. We were called and told our unit was in, but we had to be there that same day to pick it up, or wait another month to be able to pick it up. I said I couldn't make it that day, but would be there the next day. They agreed.
We drove the 100 miles (200 miles round trip) to pick up the unit, only to find out it had been sent back. They promised to deliver it to us within 3 days.
We will see. I don't have much confidence at this point.

Ashley's Delivery of furniture
So I received 3 text message on 7/20/2016 to confirm my delivery of 7/21/16 between 9:30-1:30. I also called corporate and they confirmed that this was the time frame. In the afternoon of the 20th I received a call from Brittany at the Melbourne Ashley's store telling...
I had to miss 3 hours work to be at home for the delivery. Around 4:45pm I called the customer service number to see if they could give me an eta, I was told that they would be at my house between 5-5:30pm. At 7:30pm when they still had not shown up I called back only to be placed on hold for over 15 minutes the girl came back and said she could not reach anyone she would have to send an email and that someone would call me within 30 minutes. At 8:30 when the delivery truck had not shown up and no one had called me back I called again only to be told that they were running late and should be to my house by 9:00pm and that some would call me back.
At 9:15 when no one showed and no one called back I called again only to be told that I was still on the schedule and that they would have someone call me. I told them at that time that I get up for work at 3:00am in the morning and that this was unacceptable and to have them just deliver the furniture on Tuesday the 19th. She said someone would call me. At 9:30pm a girl from the Melbourne Store called me to say that they truck should be to my house around 10-10:30 I explained to her that I get up at 3:00am in the morning and that I can not stay up until 10:30 waiting on furniture then most likely another 45 minutes by the time they set everything up and to please reschedule the delivery for the next day.
She told me that she can not reschedule for the next day that she would call me back to see exactly what time they would be at my house. At 9:45pm she called back and said that they would be there sometime around midnight!!! Really what furniture company delivers at midnight I told her absolutely not and to schedule me for the next day she stated I can't do that you either take tonight or I can not get anyone until Thursday. I told her I was not accepting a delivery at midnight I had to get up at 3:00am for work she said she would put me on the schedule for Thursday.
I called on Tuesday to customer service spoke to a rep named Patty. Told her the circumstances she had my file up and could see all the documentation. I asked to speak to a supervisor she placed me on hold for 30 minutes came back to tell me that they were all busy and she would have one call me. I called back at 1:00pm spoke to a girl name Jennifer told her I wanted to speak with a supervisor.
She read my file and stated OH your furniture must have been on the truck that broke down!!! Really why would someone not have told me on Monday evening that the truck was broke down and that my delivery would have to be rescheduled instead of lieing to me telling me that they were on the way???? She placed me on hold for a supervisor for about 15 minutes only to come back and say that none were available and someone would call me back. At 4:30 I called back to the customer service center and demanded to speak with a supervisor I told the girl to read my file and that it was pretty clear that they were refusing to have a supervisor contact me.
After 29 minutes of being on hold a lady named Karen who identified herself as a supervisor got on the phone with me. I asked her if she read my file and she stated that yes she did and that she was working on getting my furniture delivered to me on Wednesday the 20th. I explained to her the reason Thursday was bad for me was that my grandson was having surgery. She told me she would call me back that very evening and give me a status.
Well guess what SHE NEVER CALLED. Ashley's Furniture Store needs to invest in some customer service training. They are nothing but a bunch of liars and have caused me a great inconvienence not to mention time loss from work and extreme stress. After all I removed all my furniture from my living room for my new furniture.
To top it all off I was charge a delivery fee for this HORRIBLE service. I will never purchase anything from them again and working in an office with well over 100 people after hearing what I have gone through they will not purchase anything from them.

Lied about delivery date
I went to Ashley Furniture and got jerked around 4 different occasions for a delivery date. I cancelled my order through my bank and received all funds back.
I went Regency explained to the sales man of the issue I had with Ashleys and he promised that the furniture I selected would be available for delivery in two weeks. I wrote this on my paperwork, their copy and mine. I called twice now and the availability in the warehouse date has changed. Yes they have the $$ in full, but I have no furniture it has been a month.
So Much for the two week promise. If they had been upfront about the lag time I would have walked out of the store and went some where else unrelated to Ashleys-they use the same manufacturer.

Ashley furniture premier protection plan(don't waste your money and time buying in furniture from this junk store)
We bought the blended leather sofa set(sofa, couch) from Ashely furniture. After one year it started bubbling on the sofa we called the premier protection plan guys. They asked us to send the complete form. After sending form without seeing(photos) sofa they send the mail saying they won't cover the problem what occurred.Recently I found rips on my couch I called them they again send the same form better this time they are asking pictures also.i filled all the forms and send the pictures also. This time also they came up saying they won't cover this problem also. But in the paper "what they gave clearly mentioned rips, cuts they will cover".When I asked them about that they are telling some nonsense. If they are not going to cover any thing why they takeing money and every time simply wasting our time.Buying sofa in "Ashley Furniture" is waste of money. And taking this "Premier furniture protection" plan is waste money with mental stress.I can say they are simply junk."Charging more money for cheap products".Now onwards I will tell all my friends to be aware of this junk furniture store and this waste protection plan.We spent nearly $1800 and not even enjoyed one year also.

Same thing happened mine They just lost a customer and I tell everyone I know to stay away from them
Ashley Furniture is crap!!! It is designed to fall apart within 5 to 7 years of use, as most people redo their homes every 5 to 7 years.
It arrives at the store you bought it from broken!
(My folks used to own an Ashley Home Store) Ashley products are pure junk, even their most expensive line! Spend your money elsewhere!!!
i have problem ashley furtniture too!!!!!! what is the purpose of there conformation call?they called to conform my order, witch was a couch to be delivered JUNE 26.

That is NOT leather. Its fabric called durablend.Nearly Impossible to get real leather at Ashley for $1500 let alone both pieces. Sorry your sales person didnt tell you or you misunderstood.
Actually, it’s Naugahyde; the prized hide of the storied Nauga. Last seen at DuPont. Lol.
Take them to small claims court.
