I purchase a leather living room suite in December 2011 with the 5 year warranty with the understanding I was covered for all things except normal wear and tear. My recliner started blistering and peeling spoke with customer service at Ashley home center in Tupelo Mississippi and was told to contact Montage who covers the warranty. I filed my claim to them with pictures my claim was denied because they ruled it as a manufacturers defect. Went back to Ashley home center and they told me the manufacturers warranty was only for a year. I was lead to believe the insurance covered everything except normal wear and tear, Ashley furniture lied and offered no advice or help did not even want to see my pictures or even look at them.

I wish i had read all the reviews before buying.. But i ended up buying Durablend sofa and Love seat. I also bought an extended warranty. The sofa and love seat started peeling in 6 months. Its been 18 months now and my sofa now feels like a rat house... I called the number on insurance and they asked to mail them the photos.. I did and followed up but no response.. I own a piece of junk now.. I am so frustrated that i almost am thinking of putting this in junk and buy a good product... I HATE ASHLEY FURNITURE..

With all my furniture buying experiences this is the worst. The purchase experience was fine, but everything that came after I walked out the door was horrible. With family visiting I wanted a nice new furniture set and it took 3 attempts at getting my sofa delivered without any flaws or issues with the leather. So no sofa for the family visit. And then the new motorized rocker stopped working within a week. So one week to get the part and they won't schedule the repair until you have the part (so loose a week here) and then when you do call to have it installed (it's another week or more) before someone can be onsite. BEWARE - they outsource this so don't have control over their own repairs. I WISH I'D OF KNOWN THIS BEFORE I PURCHASED. Their moto when waiting on the phone is "they strive for loyalty and trust" Wow - I'd say management needs a reality check, because this experience has done the opposite from keeping me as a loyal client!

Perhaps it is they won't pay the fee to be accredited by the Better Business Bureau because they can't make the mark. I will never purchase from Ashley again.

A ordered recliner arrived with the entire bottom hanging with unsecured threads from the tapestry that was not properly secured. The wooden sides was covered with the material with no barrier cloth. Horrible construction. They became hostile when I refused to take the chair and told me I would be charged a 30% restocking fee.

The warehouse worked who was related to the owner had a demeaning attitude he was hostile, rude and threatening.

Five women in customer service were not helpful and most likely had witnessed the same situation before. The worked named Jordon would not assist in taking the chair from the box for me to check it out, and sure could use some manners.

Don't buy from Ashley! I purchased sofa set and was told two weeks for delivery. After the purchase they said it would be much longer. I asked for my money back and they don't give refunds! Never again - stuck waiting months.

Me too, bouget a recliner 2/14/15 still have not received it yet, they keep moving the delivery date, without telling me, plus cannot get through on the phone, saying there having problems. It's been like that for a month.

I can't even get through to my local store! VERY VERY PISSED!

Well all I can say is buyer beware! Ashley furniture has such horribly deceiving policies just to ensure a sale. I purchased over $12,000 in furniture and items weren't delivered on time. When we tried to cancel and return an undelivered portion they refused. They stated that you have to cxl your order within 48 hrs of purchase to get a refund (even though it can take them weeks to deliver), even though they didn't deliver on time (they actually defaulted on their promise...but I am to be held to the fine print). I told them I still had 3 rooms to furnish...about $30,000 more to spend...didn't matter! They simply refused to refund 1 *** chair that they hadn't even delivered yet. I am held hostage by their policies...so frustrating!! Do believe I will be taking my business elsewhere!" They simply do not care about their customers! Buy at your own risk!
