Ashley Furniture Furniture Set Review

I brought my bedroom set lest year and it only lasted four months the set was made of some card board not real wood. This was the worst bedroom set I have ever brought and will never by anything made by Ashley again

The rep told me to color it in with a marker. There is a facebook page called Ashley Furniture Sucks.

I did not create it but I sure as joined it and what do you know? A lot of the same stories.

Bought my furniture on jan 25, 15. Told it would take 30 days for delivery. I was fine with that, even though it seemed excessive. More than 30 days pass and nothing. Finally get a call n message asking to set up a delivery time. However when I call back, nobody answers! I leave messages and nothing. Week or so goes by and I finally get a live person, only to be told my furniture is on back order!!? Then why call me!! This dance continues n now I'm at over two months and no furniture! I call store directly! Get call center n told a manager will get back to me in 24-48 hours!!! Uh, if the store is open then why can't I talk with someone!! I'm being told not till end of April for my furniture! 3 months!! Not a good business plan! I'm done! Going shopping else where for furniture and I'll tell all I meet what I went through and to never shop at Ashley furniture!

Couch Review

I bought a couch and love seat. It has been less than a year and the wood in the couch was broke within the first month. They both are just cheaply made ***. Buying here is a big waste of time and money. Don't!

Never delivered furniture, paid downpayment and made a payment but still have yet to receive furniture, went intonthe store in February store says they can not rectify and deliver until April 21 two months from original date.

Ashley Furniture - Bedroom Furniture Review from Georgetown, Indiana

March 30, 2015. We bought bedroom furniture 2 weeks ago this Wednesday. 3 out of 4 pieces have damage and they did not tell us this furniture was discontinued. We have called 5 times and no one will call us back. Each time I call they say someone will call us in 48-72 hours. Well it been two weeks. When you call in the store they always say the person you need to talk to just left. This is the worst company ever. I will never buy anything from this store. Beware customers.

I finally received my money back from Ashley Furniture. It took over a month to receive it back.

I had to file a dispute with the finance company and that seem to get the ball rolling with Ashley Furniture.

I will not ever purchase furniture from this company.

Bad quality and bad customer service. THE OWNER KIM BAUGUESS TALKED TO ME ONCE AND SAID THAT'S IT NO MORE.

WHEN THE FURNITURE CAME IT WAS DAMAGED BUT WE HAD TO KEEP IT SINCE I AM DISABLED AND GOT RID OF THE FURNITURE SINCE WE SHOULD HAVE HAD IT A WEEK EARLIER. IT HAD A RIP ON THE LEFT ARM AND SCUFFS ON THE RIGHT BACK THAT THEY USED A MARKER TO FIX. I TOLD THEM I WANTED A NEW PIECE OF FURNITURE. I SAID I DID NOT PAY FOR BRAND NEW FURNITURE THAT WOULD BE REFURBISHED ALREADY. I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY DID'NT LISTEN AND TAKE IT APART AND BRING IT IN THE HOUSE IN 3 PIECES. WE LET THEM COME IN OUR BACK DOOR THAT IS A LARGE SLIDER. IT WAS PUT TOGETHER WRONG SO THEY HAD TO COME OUT TO FIX IT. THE FIRST GUY DID NOT SCREW IN THE COUCH. THEN WHEN WE GOT THE COUCH BACK THEY FORGOT TO PUT THE STUFFING IN IT PROPERLY. ESPECIALLY I AM DISABLED WITH 4 RUPTURED DISC'S IN MY BACK. I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE SENT THE MANAGER AND MAINTENANCE PERSON THAT DAY BUT NOT ONE PERSON CAME. I SAT HERE ALL DAY WAITING. NO PHONE CALL OR NOTHING. KIM BAUGUESS SHOULD NOT SELL FURNITURE SINCE THEY HAVE NO PEOPLE SKILLS. PLUS POOR QUALITY. PICUTRES ARE BEING SENT TO KIM BAUGUESS PERSONALLY TO HER CELL PHONE ON 3-30-2015

Store does not hold up there end of the sale. WHEN YOU GET RIPPED FURNITURE YOU SHOULD GET A NEW SET.

I ordered a leather living room electric recliner. It was damaged when it arrived. I had to keep it since they told me it was on the way and I didn't have room for 2 couches. I've called and called and kim bauguess which is the franchise owner told me to take pictures and email them to her. she will not get on the phone and there is never anyone there to help you. I am DISABLED and can't sit on a couch that leans and now the it also crunches when opening and shutting. OH THAT'S RIGHT IT DOESN'T SHUT ALL THE WAY. SHE SENT IN EXPERENCED PEOPLE TO MY HOUSE TO PUT THE COUCH TOGETHER AND ANOTHER GUY HAD TO COME OUT AGAIN. SO NOW SHE SAID TO MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN OUT AND SHE WON'T BE SENDING ANYONE OUT. WE HAD 3 DISPUTES AND OF COURSE THEY GOT TO WRITE A LETTER AND WE DIDN'T TO EXPLAIN. I THINK THIS COMPANY IS A DISGRACE. ANYONE READING THIS DON'T SHOP THERE OR GET RIPPED OFF. I AM ON A LIMITED INCOME AND NOW I AM OUT OF MONEY TO REPLACE THIS COUCH. I DON'T THINK ANYONE SHOULD HAVE TO REPLACE SOMEHTING THAT I HAVE ALREADY BEEN PAYING AS WE AGREED. Delayed delivery. My family and I have waited 2 months since purchase date for our furniture. This wait time was not clearly divulged when we purchased the furniture, but it was stated in the paperwork. After waiting the time stated, we still have not received our furniture. We asked the store assistant manger if she could please help us. She said we have to wait an additional month. She also promised to call the company to see if our delivery could be moved up and that she would definitely call us the following day. Of course, she never called back and my calls are ignored. If I have a late payment, I would be penalized. Why isn't Ashley furniture penalized for making my family live without furniture way passed the promised delivery date?

Ashley rocker recliner

bought for 400.00 worst recliner i have ever had. after sitting in it for less than one hour back hurts so bad i can hardly move, it even feels like it causes problems to my sciatic nerve. nice looking chair but. and looks comfortable, but it will really hurt a back. not sure what kind of material it is not leather or fabric. this is a real bad chair. if anyone would like a deal i will sell it for 150.00 just like new. i still have the invoice. call if interested in purchasing this chair 662378****, it may work for you but i cannot sit in it. this is an ashley rocker recliner.

Inferior quality furniture and poor customer service

We purchased a sectional that began to pill within a few months of its purchase. After 6 months, it looked very old-extreme pilling on seat and throw cushions, flattening of throw and back cushions, seat cushions were losing form, and the wedge popped a spring tearing its seat cushion. Three months later...no full resolution. We are being charged a 30% restocking fee to return their inferior furniture, and the extended warranty will be prorated. We will be out $500-$600! To say we've been given the run around is an understatement! I think their intent is to frustrate the customer into giving up!

Have the same issue. Leather is peeling.

Its only me and my husband. We have no kids. I dont put any cleaner on it. I just use a dry rag.

This company has done nothing but drag me around. Im calling the store tomorrow or early next week.

I dont want to ruin my weekend. Its ruined my day and gave me a stress headache.

Ashley Furniture - Couch Review from Brooklyn, New York

A former friend purchased me an Ashley couch. The day it arrives, I ask for a receipt to which they say they don't have one and I don't need one- there's a warranty. I loved the sectional so I figured if anything went wrong, My friend should have one. Anyway, about two months in, one of the beams from underneath the couch came apart where it's visible to the eye. I fixed it. Now it's about a year after I have it and both beams collapsed through the bottom lining so it's impossible to sit down. So I call the company to ask about warranty and they tell me I need the receipt which I was never given. It's a gift from a friend that I am no longer in contact with so I can't get a copy of one. Nothing. Out of luck. So I try to fix it myself. The beams do not fit the frame. The springs came out of their positions and reattaching them is impossible as they're all bent and out of shape. The beams themselves don't fit the frame and the configurations are all wrong. They're couches are cheaply and poorly made and if you need proof, open them up and see their craftsmanship. I'm very unimpressed and would strongly advise against purchasing anything from them but seeing as how you're on this page, you probably already know.
