Nov 30/14 I purchased washer/dryer, range, fridge, OTR microwave, dishwasher, Tempurpedic bed. Delivery was scheduled for Jan 17/15 in my new home and moving decisions were based on this delivery. I had been in touch with my salesman, Dwayne, who confirmed everything was a go. The delivery service states the customer will receive a call the day before to confirm a three hour window. I did not receive a call. On the day of delivery I waited until 9:30 AM and then I phoned Ashley furniture in Saskatoon where I bought the appliances. I was informed that I would not be receiving any delivery and that there was a problem at the warehouse. First I was told that the appliances were not in stock. Then I was told that my order indicated a pick up at the warehouse instead of a delivery to my home. I tried to contact customer service all day yesterday and I could not get through, instead I got recordings that said all our representatives are busy with other customers please try again later. I could not even get through to a person to talk about my issues. The other salesperson I dealt with, Shauna, actually felt bad and paid a relative to at least deliver the bed since I was sleeping on the floor. No one would have called me, I had to initiate all communication and no one put me through to Dwayne, I assumed he wasn't in but later I phoned to ask for him and he was there! I asked why he didn't bother to phone me when I was having all these problems and all he kept saying was "I apologize I know how you feel, Iapologize I know how you feel" ... I do not believe he was sorry and no he does not know how angry I feel! All he said was to call him on Monday to figure out a new delivery date! I paid $8000 for these appliances and I have no idea when I willget them and if I ask for my money back there will be a $800 restocking fee for items not in stock! Save your precious time and money and go anywhere else but not Ashley Furniture. I will never

i was lie to buy sales person, told me guardian warranties cover everything, it did not, i had tried to use warranty many times and it is like pulling teeth, it is hard to use the warranty and they always tell me, is not cover, do not spend your money buying warranties, also do not buy there durablend products, it peels off. the sales person told me it does not. I shop at colton california ashley. I thought i was buying a good quality furniture for the money. I paid too much for cheap product. I would not buy from here again and i do not recommend buying from ashley furniture. All i want is for furniture to last, i do not plan to throw things away. i do not believe in being wasteful .

Ashley Furniture review in Concord, North Carolina: Peeling sofa

We have owned two sofa from Ashley were told 100 percent leather after about 2 years first one it started peeling So we complain didn't do any good so the store we purchased it from gave us a $300.00 discount on another one and it has done same thing I will never ever buy anything that is ASHLEY furniture again so now we have spent over 3400.00 on there furniture that is no good And cant get them to do anything about it you can call and call and they give you the run around .All they are doing is stealing hard working people money and running scams. I will report them to the BBB 100 PERCENT LEATHER DOES NOT PEEL .AND THEY ARE NOT SELLING REAL LEATHER . SO PEOPLE BE AWEAR WHEN THEY TELL YOU ITS REAL LEATHER

Do u seriously think u can get an entire 100% leather set sofa a love seat for 3400.00 please get real one sofa made with a 100% leather will run you 7-8 grand you folks kill me with the foolishness you get what you pay for its cheap *** point blank period

I finally paid my neighbor to assemble my bed. The parts were shipped to me. I never heard back from Ashley, except for the bill.

I bought a bed in December. Its been delivered in 3 shipments & still not assembled. Now I have parts of it on the floor & leaned up against the walls of my bedroom,;for over a week. No call back from Ashley, today, about this.

A person came out last Tuesday, presumably to assemble the bed. When she got here, she started taking pictures of the parts.

I asked her, if she brought the hardware. She says "There's no hardware? Omg!". I asked her why she came out.

She said that the hardware was "sent to me." I asked when it was sent. She said about a week ago. I told her they didn't know it was missing until last Friday (about 4 days ago).

She said she would have the hardware sent to me by UPS.

Ashley Furniture - Bed Review from Dover, Delaware

So on December 20 we bought a bed set for lots of money. When we were about to leave this lady came in yelling that she ordered a bed set and that they gave her a totally different thing! I then realized that it was the same one we had just ordered. I just hoped that It wouldn't happen to me and that it was a simple mistake. Today January 8 my bed set came in and it was the wrong one! I was furious. We also had the wrong things come in too. I called and they said that they couldn't do any thing about it. We are at the store now and they still don't want to do anything about it. I recommend you to save your money and not shop here. There are plenty of other places that sell the same thing and have better service.

Wow...what a crazy story...sounds totally illegal. How did they get away with that?

I know someone who had a similar experience (at a different location), who thought they were getting a storage bed...but what arrived did not have storage. They went to the store and it was explained that the storage was optional and not included in the price. So, they paid the difference and the storage unit was delivered.

In this Cas it was just a misunderstanding. How did your situation end up?

Ashley Furniture review in North Liberty, Iowa: No Delivery of Purchased Items, Still Awaiting Refund!, Bad Business Ethics & Customer Service

We purchased furniture on 11/26/2014, we were told we would have the furniture in a couple weeks and promised by the store before Christmas. We did not receive the furniture before Christmas, we received no follow up phone calls or status updates in regards to our purchase with Ashley Furniture. We had to return to the store and ask for a refund because they could not give us any updates as to when we might receive the furniture. All we were told was any day it should arrive but that is all we know. We are still waiting for our refund of $4,858.05 as of today 1/7/2015!

All of my Ashley Furniture hardware has fallen off of our chest, dresser and armoir. This is very annoying and looks like cheap broken furniture now. Never EVER buying Ashley Furniture again.

I bought an electric recliner for my husband for Christmas. It was over $600.

After 2 weeks, it didn't work. I called Ashley and told them I wanted to return it and get a replacement. They said no, you have to call the company we have to do repairs. Keep in mind, it is not Ashley Furniture doing the repairs.

When I called they could not come out for at least a month. When the technician came out, he said that this was a pre-existing condition. It was nothing that we did. Fortunately, he repaired it and we have not had any other problems with it.

I would not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone.

Once you buy something there, you are stuck with it. Very bad experience.

Ashley in egypt give us 4 times to deliver sofa set , every time very silly excuses like sales rep missed to write down the delivery time, shortage of delivery cars, shortage of licensed drivers , and after failing to committed 3 times , they give us fourth appointment with delivery time from 18:00-20:00, imagine now it is 23:55, and no body came!!!!

Furniture Review

Drove from San Antonio to warehouse in New Braunfels. Had a scheduled pick up. We were there at 10 am opening. Apparently they figured we weren't coming to our "scheduled" pick up and decided to return our items back the warehouse??!!. So we are sitting here in our vehicle waiting. My husband has to be at work today soon. Pissed is an understatement!!
