Poor furniture quality/customer service.

A month ago we purchased a bed, chest, media chest and night stands. Headboard of bed was damaged - there were numerous scratches, dents and dings on the other pieces. Several drawers stick badly and one won't open at all. Been waiting 2 weeks for replacement of damaged headboard and night stand - with no word from company. More drawers are now sticking and we've since realized you can't look at the furniture without it getting a scratch or nick on it. What a waste of $2000+. We will never shop at this store again and encourage other to think twice before buying anything here.

Ashley Furniture - Table Review from Indianapolis, Indiana

unhappy with Customer service. I was in the store nearly 30 minutes or more and not one associate approached me. I finally was able to get an associates attention and asked him a question about a dining table. He seemed distracted and just pointed me to a section. He didn't say he would return or that he would be around for questioning. 15 seconds later he approached a couple asked their name and engaged in a conversation for a visit. I am in the market for a dining table and won't purchase a table or anything else from this store and maybe even the franchise.

Do Not Shop at Ashley In Conroe, Tx. Horrible Service!!!!

My Wife and I decided it was time for a new bed and thought we would try Ashley Furniture. What A mistake! Over a month later and We are still waiting for the rest of our purchase and no one seems to care. Our bed was back ordered for a month and the day of delivery, after they confirmed delivery, we were told our stuff wasn't in. So, I took another day off work and waited at home for our delivery. 2 hours after speaking to the delivery driver, saying he was on his way, again, we were told our bed wasnt received. Why were they confirming delivery for something they didn't have? While all of this was going on our salesperson would never return our phone calls and the store manager seemed to care less. The third attempt, another day off work, our bed finally arrived incomplete. Another trip to the store and the manager told me I would have to call customer service! The lady with customer care told me I would have to call the company they bought the bed from to get the part! This is unbelievable! I'm not doing their job for them. I told as much and I'm still waiting on someone to call me back. I will make it a point to tell everyone I know not to do business with this company. I'm considering standing in front of their store and warning any would be buyers to stay away. Since all of this has happened I'm hearing the same sort of stories from other people who have had the same experience with Ashley. If you read this and still shop there, remember, You have been warned. 40 something days after the purchase and I still do not have what I paid for.

Unfortunately my original sales ( John Totten) person wasn't in that day January 30th 2015, so I ended up dealing with a woman named Mia Durham the experience was terrible I felt ripped off the whole time things get better until I finally found John.Lesson learned I'll Never Purchase Anything Without John again.

Ashley Furniture Delivery Service Review

Failed delivery...I wish I would have looked at these complaints before I purchased. How can a company this size be so poor with customer service? Wish me luck, going to try to get my money back tomorrow. The customer service line doesn't answer, they are so poor they don't have hold music, just lengthy silence. Disgusted they don't value my patronage.

1.5 Months Later, Still don't have all my furniture

*** CUSTOMER SERVICE ALERT: On 1/5/15 I purchased over $5000 worth of furniture from Ashley Furniture HomeStore St. Louis in South County for my business offices in St. Louis City, consisting of 2 couches, 2 arm chairs, 4 end tables, 1 coffee table, 1 sofa table, 1 area rug, and 8 padded kitchen chairs to be used in our waiting room. I was told at that time that it would be the last week of January before deliveries could be made because of something about factory wait time. The week of 1/30/15, I had to go through the rigmarole with their automated system making phone calls to confirm service delivery dates/times -- it calls you, and when you call back, you wait on hold for literally 20 minutes each time (even when you return the call immediately after receiving a message). In fact, one night I waited 25 minutes and finally hung up because I had several back to back appointments to tend to. When I came out of them and called them back around 8:15pm, they were closed. After finally getting through the following day and confirming delivery date/time, I received a second message just 1 day before delivery advising me that 3 of the 8 waiting room chairs would not be delivered because they simply did not have them, and there was no ETA on their arrival. This is a major inconvenience for my business because, in addition to actually having to schedule with them all over again, in preparation for delivery of new items, our waiting room was vacated of the furniture that previously occupied it, so we have been shy of a full waiting room suite since that point. A few days after the initial delivery, I went through the automated service issue again twice: first to schedule a delivery date over which I had no control, unless I wanted to move it backward (i.e., even though they called on 2/2/15, they couldn't deliver my remaining 3 chairs for over 1 full week until 2/11/15 between 9am-12pm) -- and second to confirm that date/time. I waited on hold 3 times again (once hanging up) for literally 20 minutes each time, ultimately just to speak with a representative for what amounted to a 30 second conversation where I said, "Yes, that date/time still works." On 2/10/15, again 1 day before delivery, I received a phone call from Ashley advising that although all 3 chairs had come in for delivery, 1 of them was damaged, so they would only be delivering 2. SHEESH. To make matters very much worse, this morning, on 2/11/15, at 8:14am, I received an automated phone call from Ashley which I answered, which advised that my furniture was to be delivered in 10 minutes (which would've been 8:24am). Because I had arranged my schedule that day to be at the office by 9am, I was not yet there and/or ready to fly right out the door, so when the actual delivery man ("Wayne") called 8 minutes later (8:22am) asking afresh for my address and confirming identifying features of the building (they were right outside), I said, "I'm not there yet, however, and you're not supposed to be either. You're supposed to be there at 9am, and I will be be there by then as well. Actually, I'll be there in the next 10 minutes or so." He said, "Okay, no problem," and we hung up. At 8:35am on the dot, I pulled up to my building and the delivery truck is nowhere in sight. I called Wayne's cell phone twice -- once at 8:35a (and left a message) and once at 8:49a (and did not leave a message). It's now after 9am and I have customers coming shortly, still don't have the chairs, and haven't heard from them. Long story short -- every time this stuff happens, it causes a fairly major inconvenience for me and my business. And all of that to say -- even if "Wayne" shows up today to deliver, I still won't be finished dealing with them, because I'll have to go through this entire process again for one lousy chair, which will end up getting delivered to me over a month and a half after I bought it. If this is the customer experience you'd like to have, I encourage you to buy furniture from Ashley.

Ashelys furniture home store hickory nc

bought some furniture in oct of 2014 delivery dates change several times finally got furniture before Christmas then the account was set up on 2 credit cards (per ashelys furniture) then in jan of 2015 my statement for both cards came and on 1 card was a 4000 credit limit ashelys had charged over 500 dollars to each card know my credit is up to 6700 dollars for something I didn't purchase 2nd card was 2000 dollars credit limit know was up to 2100 dollars also over the limit no one would call me back there service is no good I will never buy anything else from the sorry buisness

I will never buy anything from Ashley.

The customer service sucks. I had to wait more than 30 mins and no one answered my call. I called the store couple of time and all they say is to call the customer service back. The lady did not help in arranging the callback. Looks like once the furniture is sold no one cares about us. Furniture Review

This's by far the worst place ever to do business with. Been waiting on an order for 3 months. Been lied too over and over about it being here and then it's not here. They let me sit all day waiting on my delivery, which they knew it wasn't coming. That was Done 3 times. All I can say is never shop there!!!

ASHLEY FURNITURE DELIVERY SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!!!!!

I ordered a complete bedroom suite on the Friday after Thanksgiving. I was told I would probably have it before Christmas. It did not come. They rescheduled for Jan 20. So the night before, we took all of our old bedroom furniture out of our bedroom, so the delivery men would have no problem bringing our new furniture in. It did not come. After numerous phone calls and being placed on hold for an average of about 45 minutes each time, I was assured my furniture would arrive on Feb 3rd. Well yesterday I received 2 of the 7 pieces ordered. I immediately called the furniture delivery dept. They said the rest would arrive between 1:00 and 5:00 yesterday. After staying at home all day waiting, guess what? It didn't come. Now they are telling me the first available delivery date is Feb. 17th. This is the most ridiculous experience I have ever had. I am so sick of dealing with these people I could scream!!! Never again!!!

I had the same HORRIBLE experience, delievery service SUCKS, also each and every employee there has an arttitude, their professional level is ZERO.

I can attest, I experienced a similar situation and ended up cancelling the order we were so fed up wasting our time being given a deliver date, the furniture not showing up, then wasting hours on hold and getting a new delivery date...this happened four times! Wasted four days driving to the cabin to be there to receive the furniture and it never showed up.

The customer care department is useless and they don't care. We cancelled the order six weeks ago and are still waiting for a refund.

Couch Review

We had the same issue, happened 2 years after purchase. Went to the store to see what could be done and were told nothing could be done. Salesman then proceeded to try and sell us another couch. We walked out. Never again.

Ashley is HORRIBLE!

Customer service is terrible (even when district mgr was involved) Have had a replacement and 5 repair calls a POS electric recliner. I have been waiting over 2 1/2 months for the issue to be resolved. The warranty company is just as bad. Do not spend your money with Ashley! Take a look at Yelp people, they do not care about customer service after the sale is made. No one ever returns a phone call from either Ashley or Montage ( the warranty co.) Managers and supervisors at both companies could really care a less. Avoid like the plague..they really are that bad!!

Leather sofa peeling

I bought this sofa less than a year ago and in several areas of the couch it is peeling along with discoloration. To mention just a fiew area of the couch that is peeling such as the left armrest, the back rest area. When I called headquarters, I was told because I don't have the extended warranty this will be an out of pocket repair. They also provided a company that will repair the problem. A.F. quality furniture is worst than Rooms-To-Go. I visited Room-To-Go before purchasing the sofa at A.F. I can truly say that R.T.G were honest enough to inform me of the level of quality in their furniture. I will never again buy anything from Ashley furniture. There furniture quality is the worst I ever encountered.

Delivery dates changed,furniture damaged and supposedly reordered but received same damaged piece two weeks later,customer service had me on hold for 47 minutes.Delivery personnel rude,received no delivery phone call as they had been given the wrong number by sales person.
