Delivery Time

We were given a delivery date which we had agreed to and signed the contract on. This delivery date was an entire MONTH out from the day we purchased the furniture! When the delivery date came and went, our furniture was not delivered for another THREE WEEKS!!! We kept calling the store and at times no one would answer, other times we were placed on hold for so long with no one picking up our phone call. We finally gave up and went into the store again only to experience the WORST customer service of all times! We were told that there was nothing that they could do for us and that we would just have to wait!

It is so true what the customer above wrote. I purchase a living room set from Ashley's furniture store at 80 Nardozzi PL. New Rochelle, NY 10801 3/12/11, and by August, 2013 the sofa started peeling off on the cushion where the stitching is. I call the phone number on my receipt and spoke to one of their representative by the name of Inga on 1/9/15. She was so nice in her initial response and promise to send a set of replacement cushions even though my one year warranty already expired. But, about 45 minutes later; she call my phone and left a message, that her supervisor wouldn't allow her to send me replacement since my warranty had expired. So, she left a number for me to contact the manufacturer to see what they can do about it, which was kind of disappointing since I've only bought it 29 months prior to it started peeling off like a snake changing its skin. Now I'm about to contact the manufacturer to see what they'll do about it.

Ashley Furniture - Working Conditions Review from Long Branch, New Jersey

Ashley Furnitire does not care about thier employees. They do not care if you have a family or prior commitments. They expect thier workers to work like dogs and be happy. The sales people do not get paid. The customer service girls are over worked. The managers hide and make them deal with us upset people. Also, being an ex employee you never know when you work. They exoect you to drop everything the day of when they say come to work! you are promised so much when they hire you but all lies!

Poor quality

bought 2 love seat recliner's before a year they had to replace the back piece on both recliners the material was separating. Know the arms are doing the same thing and on the seat to. But the 1 year warranty is up so it is not covered this set is not even 2 years old. I gave goodwill a better set than these. they were 13 years old and in better shape than what I have know. They looked very nice and I was told they were top of the line and that the bonded leather would last for years. I waited a long time to buy a new set.I think that I was taken advantage of by the furniture store and Ashley furniture. Do your home work I didn't I just trusted the word of people who were suppose to know all about what they were selling and be up front and honest. Know I have to look at this every day as a reminder of how Ashley Furniture and there reps. will say anything to sell there product.

I bought a sectional paid 2 grand plus purchased a 5year warrant what a rip off Ashley warranty is full of bs I have had the furniture 3 years and love seat started to tear called the warrant guy came out no can't fix do to it having a small stain what the *** do a small stain have to do with a tear I could whip the stain with a damp cloth and would come up the only reason I didn't is because the tear would have to be refabric wear the small stain was anyway will never buy again u suck ashley

Ashley Furniture Homestore - Ashley Delivery Drivers Stole from My Home

Ashley Furniture sent 2 outsourced drivers to my home.My Ipad was plugged into the outlet in my kitchen and I was home at the time. I purchased a truckload of furniture only to discover my Harley Davidson necklace gone. I tracked it and it was located somewhere in CT. I contacted the store who have done nothing. We even gave the drivers a tip. Apparently Ashley Furniture does not care after the sale. I left two messages at the corporate office and at the store to have the owner call me and he is ignoring the requests as well.

Ashley Furniture - Sofa Review from Suitland, Maryland

I Would like to start by saying that when shopping in the store my wife and I was looking around was kind of excited about buying new furniture we was like kids in a toy store however we saw this leather powered sofa and love seat and the sofa was priced at $799.00 the love seat was priced at $499.00 and all together I think we spent $1.100.00 with that being said I received my furniture o.k. but a problem occurred the sofa and love seat started to fade and peal it was so embarrassing when friends and family would come over and see my furniture like this so I called and spoke to the young lady that wrote up our contact and she asked me what did I do to cause it to fade and peal I told her I did not do anything however I mentioned to her for this to fade and peal like this it must not be real leather because real leather would not fade and peal like this so she said she would have someone come out to my home and take a look at the furniture however someone did come and they ended up picking up the furniture and replacing it but this is the thing the furniture they replaced it with was cheaper then the furniture they picked up its quality was very very poor and now I got new furniture again this sofa and love seat started to peal but not only that the part where you push the button so.it will go up and down this stopped working one on my sofa and the other on my love seat so I still have the furniture and I am still making payments on it ONLY because I want to keep my credit in good standings and they are quick to call you about your payments but will not do anything to help you or at least meet you half way and the customer service is really bad and the furniture is not much better I would never ever buy anymore furniture from here I will go somewhere other than here so please if you are looking or in search of furniture (WARNING ) do not shop here

Very disappointed

Will never purchase there again -- have only owned a set from Ashley furniture for 14 months. This was our first (and last) purchase there - cushions failed at twelve months and a day... (Warranty is at 1 year). Nice firm seats at purchase, now are mush...and they want to call it "wear and tear". Poor quality -- couch and loveseat set. Cushion bottoms are cloth that don't match, so can not even turn over to distribute the "wear and tear"-- at least now we know to look first! Do not listen to their advertisements -- not good quality at all! Will not be a repeat customer.

All Lies, No customer service, Do not deal with this horrible company.

On 01/31/15 my wife and I selected a whole bedroom set, king bed with under bed storage, 2 night stands, dresser w/mirror, and chest of drawers. We requested delivery on 03/03/15. The saleman told us they had the items in stock and would hold them for delivery. On Friday 02/27/15 I received a call from Ashley Customer Care stating there was a delay from the manufacturer on 1 of the night stands and that they would deliver everything but the 1 night stand on 03/03/15 and deliver the 2nd night stand a week later on 03/10/15. After thinking about it over the weekend, I became somewhat angry, so I went to the store to see the store manager. I was told he was on a conference call and would be with me in a minute. 20 minutes later he came from his office and I explained that I was not happy that the salesman lied and they did not hold the furniture for me. The store manager then passed me off to an assistant. After the girl at the "service" desk checked, it was determined that there was a delay, I was told that I would only be receiving the bed and the chest of drawers. No dresser, or either night stand. After checking further they told me I could get everything delivere at once if I waited until 03/12/15. On Monday 03/09/15 I received another call on my answering maching from their "customer care" department stating that there was further delay and could they reschedule the deliver for 03/19/15. I was furious as they had awakened me as I work nights and the salesman had remarks on the invoice not to call until late afternoon. Within 2 minutes I got out of bed and attempted to call them back. I was on hold for 29 minutes and 23 seconds before I finally hung up. I got dressed immediately and went to the store. Again the manager was on a "conference call" and the assistant I had dealt with before was summoned. After explaining the situation to him, he went into the managers office. They both came out and the manager had the girl behind the counter check the status of the order. He never even spoke to me. After looking into their system the manager went back to his office supposedly to make a call to determine what was going on. He never returned and I was told by the girl behind the counter that he was again "supposeldy on a conference call trying to determine the status. Next thing I know, I was being told that nobody know what was happening. I was eventually told that I could wait for future delivery, choose a different bedroom set, or get a refund. After talking with my wife, we decided on a different bedroom set. The price was $476 more that what I had originally spent and the were unwilling to give any kind of discount for my inconvience. I then selected to receive a refund which they say will take 4-5 days. Again, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, you will most likely have the same experience that we had and almost everyone else has had. The saleman lied, the store manager didn't seem to care. You will not get any satisfaction

DO NOT BUY ANY THING FROM ASHLEY BIGGEST MISTAKE OF YOUR LIFE .IT GOING ON FOUR MONTHS SINCE WE BOUGHT OUR FURNITURE THEY STILL HAVEN'T FIX RIGHT . YESTERDAY THE BUMD *** WITHCHED OUT THE FRAME TO OUR LOVE SEAT RECLINER GLIDER YOU CAN CLEAR SEE IT WAS THE WRONG FRAME I EVEN TOLD HIM SO HE FOURCED IT ON ANY WAY. NOW IT LOOKS BAD WITH A BIG GAB AT THE BOTTOM WHEN THE RECLINER CLOSES. I TOLD I WANT IT FIXED RIGHT HE TELLS ILL ORDRER ANOTHER ONE IT WILL BE HERE IN 2 TO 4 WEEKS WHAT THE ***. 8 weeks and counting with no end in sight!!

We purchased a couch (in-store) at the Hagerstown, MD Ashley Furniture Homestore on 1/10/15. The saleslady told us that even thought the paper work stated "Back Orders 3-8 weeks"... it normally NEVER takes that long. On 2/5/15, we called to get an idea of when the couch should be coming? We were told that the ETA would be the week of 2/15/15. On 2/25/15, we called AGAIN & were told there was no ETA??? They contacted the Home Office & someone from there called me back with the same standard response... the ETA is 3/9/15, they can't confirm a date... it's only an estimate... Sorry for the inconvenience... Blah... Blah... Blah... Last nite, we went into the store and were told the ETA was 3/29/15, but it's only an estimate... We are at 8 weeks today with no end in sight!!! We were given the # to the Home Office & were told that they get "these" calls all the time?? When we called today, there is NO ONE in the sales dept... only a voice recording of store phone #s... If it wasn't so frustrating, it would be hilarious!! but, right now... we are not laughing! We also had to pay $20 for the couch to be delivered to the store for us to pick it up!!

Lied too

I purchase a leather living room suite in December 2011 with the 5 year warranty with the understanding I was covered for all things except normal wear and tear. My recliner started blistering and peeling spoke with customer service at Ashley home center in Tupelo Mississippi and was told to contact Montage who covers the warranty. I filed my claim to them with pictures my claim was denied because they ruled it as a manufacturers defect. Went back to Ashley home center and they told me the manufacturers warranty was only for a year. I was lead to believe the insurance covered everything except normal wear and tear, Ashley furniture lied and offered no advice or help did not even want to see my pictures or even look at them.
