I too, will never buy Ashley furniture again. I brought furniture for my mom's home and my own from Ashley and none of it is quality.

I think the furniture in the show rooms are set up to feel as if it is quality made but is not the same furniture delivered to your home. Terrible furniture with cardboard.

Delivery came and warehouse shipped wrong parts of furniture had to wait a week then came again and brought broken parts, now we have to wait till after Christmas for the third delivery of the correct and fixed parts. WORST SERVICE EVER DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I recently paid tried to file a claim with Ashley furniture protection plan for pet urine on my couch. I was advised it wasn't covered under the plan.

I then asked for the plan to be cancelled because the only reason I purchased it was in the event my animals did any damage to my furniture. I was told I would have my refund within 30 days which never showed up. I escalated this issue all the way up to the top of the management at the store I purchased from and they informed me that I called for a different reason (sweat stains!) and that they will not refund my money.

This program is bogus and filled with a bunch of liars and scam artists under the umbrella of ASHLEY FURNITURE.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS DIRE WARNING I WISH SOMEONE WARNED ME

THEY WILL SWITCH PRODUCTS AND IF YOU CATCH THEM THEY WILL OFFER A DESCOUNT DUE TO THE MISTAKE. IF YOU DO NOT TAKE THE DISCOUNT FOR THE ITEM YOU DO NOT WANT THEN YOU ARE OFFERED FULL STORE CREDIT FOR ANY OTHER ITEM. WHEN YOU ASK FOR A REFUND THEY WILL SAY IT IS THERE POLICY THAT UNLESS THE FURNITURE WAS DAMAGED THEY ONLY EXCHANGE. I ASK WHERE IS THAT LISTED AND THEY REPLY ON THEIR WEBSITE WHICH I NEVER WENT TO AS I AM INSIDE YOUR STORE. IF YOU CALL THE CORPORATE OFFICE AMAZINGLY THEY IMMEDIATELY TELL YOU EVERY SINGLE STORE IS SELF OWNED AND THEY DO NOT GET INVOLVED IN ANY WAY. I REMIND THEM THAT THEY ARE USING ASHLEY FURNITURE NAME AND THE CORPORATE OFFICE STATES AND THAT IS ALL WE HAVE TO DO WITH THEM. I WAIT FOR THE STORE MANAGER WHICH TAKES 4 HOURS BECAUSE HE ONLY WORKS PART TIME. HE SAYS HE NEEDS HIS MANAGER TO AGREE TO SIGN OFF. HIS MANAGER WORKS DURING THE OTHER HOURS AND SO I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL I CAN MEET HIM. I COME BACK THE NEXT DAY AT MY OWN EXPENSE AND MEET THE MANAGER WHO NOW HAS TO VERIFY THE PROBLEM WITH THE FIRST MANAGER. HE REFUSES TO CALL HIM BUT WRITES A NOTE THAT HE CAN RESPOND WHEN HE GETS IN THAT NIGHT. I RETURN AT NIGHT AND THE FIRST MANAGER HAS PERMISSION NOW TO SEND TO CORPORATE OFFICE WHICH I ALREADY WAS TOLD WANTS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS. HE EMAILS AND FAX'ES THE PAPERS AND THE CREDIT REQUEST TO THE HOME OFFICE. I WAIT ANOTHER 2 HOURS AND THE RESPONSE IS WE WILL CALL THE CUSTOMER WITHIN 48 HOURS WHICH IS 2 DAYS. I AM FORCED TO LEAVE AND WAIT PATIENTLY. I CALL STORE IN 3 DAYS AND IM TOLD IT IS THE HOLIDAYS....AS IF I DID NOT NOTICE .....AND THINGS ARE BACKED UP....IM TO BE PATIENT AND THE CREDIT WILL GO THROUGH. I ASK HOW MUCH LONGER AND IM TOLD ONE DAY OR TWO DAYS AT MOST. IN ASHLEY LAUNGUAGE A DAY IS NOT 24 HOURS BUT WHAT CAN BE 72 HOURS IF LUCKY. EVERYTIME I CALL THEY ARE CLOSE TO ISSUING THE CREDIT. AS I WRITE THIS IS 14 DAYS AND I WAS JUST TOLD THAT THEY ARE DOING ME A FAVOR AND I SHOULD NOT BE SO PUSHY TO GET MY MONEY BACK. THE MONEY THEY ACTUALLY STOLE AND LIED AND GET THAT IS. THEY SAID NOT TO CONTACT THEM THAT THEY WILL GET TO IT SOON. THEY THEN TELL ME HOW I RUINED THE HOLIDAYS FOR THE SALESMAN WHO NOW LOSES THE COMMISSION ON THE ITEM I NEVER WANTED TO BUY. CORPORATE OFFICE HAS NOW HUNG UP ON BE 12X AS WELL AS THE STORE 6X. I AM A CHRISTIAN MAN BUT I CAN EASILY SEE WHY SOME CUSTOMERS RETURN IN ANGER AND CAUSE A SITUATION. IF THE FURNITURE IS 85 PER CENT OFF DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.....THE DELIVERY CHARGE WILL GO UP 6X WHAT YOUR EXPECTING AND THEY DROP OFF THE FURNITURE AT CURBSIDE. IT COST 3X MORE TO GET INSIDE THE HOUSE WHERE SOME PEOPLE LIKE TO HAVE THEIR NEW FURNITURE. This company has the rudest customer service department I have ever interacted with. I deal with hundreds of vendors online and have never encountered a company so rude and not helpful. I had to threaten further action before even receiving any kind if response from them and then from that point on it was bad. I did not receive a product myself because I cancelled my order but do have a friend who purchased from them and the quality is also terrible. Do not used them

Delivery Experience was Horrible

the customer service at the store is great when purchasing my items but when it comes to delivery. it's horrible. i ordered a mattress, couch and love seat that was supposed to be delivered within 3-4 weeks. at the third week mark i call just to get an update and i'm told that they are waiting for my love seat to come in and that it wouldn't be there until the week of Dec 18 which would put my order 5 weeks out at that point. so i ask if my mattress could be delivered sooner because i was sleeping on an air mattress which was killing my back. the customer service rep set up for delivery to be that following Wed which would have been Nov 10. the morning before they called to let me know what time the delivery would be there. then that afternoon they called to tell me that my mattress was damaged while loading it in the truck and that they couldn't deliver it. so i had to wait for them to order a new one and then send that down and that someone from the store would call me later that day to give me the new date and time. did i get a call, no. at this point i'm pissed. not only did i not get a courtesy call to let me know it would be longer than 4 weeks but when i called later that afternoon on Nov 9 to find out when it would be delivered i kept getting the run around. when i asked to speak to a manager the young lady told me a manager wouldn't be in until that thursday. when i told her that was unacceptable she told me she would look into my order and call me back. did she? no. so i go to the store and low and behold, a manager is working. now i'm extremely mad because she lied to me. the manager looked my info up and told me that my mattress would not be shipped to the store until Dec. 15. it is Now Dec 16, i called to check on my status and my delivery will not make it to the store until this weekend and they won't be able to deliver my stuff until Dec. 24. i have a brand new house that i've not been able to live in because i don't have a bed to sleep in because of the *** i've had to deal with from the delivery department. at this point by the time i get my stuff it will be a month that i've not been able to live in my home AND it will be 6 weeks total that i've been waiting on my stuff.

Invoice number: 950598 My name is amose blanc. I had i bad experience. I was lie by your employer to get the 3year warranty for my bed. It not even a year yet the frame broke while my son was asleep. You rep said it is not a manufacture defect it is not covered. I think it is a scam to do this to customers. Big company like you shiyld have good reputation not bad.i am very disappointed in the experience. Ashley Furniture and bogus Montage Furniture Services Protection Plan

In 2011, I purchased about $4,000 worth of furniture from Ashley Furniture in Altoona, Pa. I was told to purchase the 5 year warranty, and if anything where to go wrong within that 5 years it would be covered. Within less than a year the couch and recliner started to deteriorate. I contacted the Montage Service Center and they compensated for the sectional couch because Ashley furniture no longer carried it, and sent the replacement piece for our recliner chair. Less than a year after that, the rest of the chair became damaged. I submitted a claim to Montage Furniture, and after several back and forth email messages, and a call from the supervisor, they it could not be covered, because damage did not go all the way to the foam. In 3 our of the 6 pictures that I sent, it DID go ALL the way to the foam. I discourage anyone from buying any type of "leather" furniture from Ashley furniture, and certainly do not by the protection plan, it is bogus, and they will not honor it. Also Ashley Furniture lied, saying that all damage would be covered. *** furniture, and SERVICE. This furniture did not even last 3 years....WASTE of money.

We purchased a couch and love seat last January. I have to say they are the most uncomfortable pieces of furniture I have ever sat on. My wife and I both have excessive shoulder and back pain. As well as leg pain. They are the worst couches I have ever seen. Is anyone else having these issues?

Terrible customer service

Today, I went into Ashley furniture in San Jose, Calif. on Blossom Hill RD. I walked in and asked if I bought from this store can it be delivered to Madera from the Fresno Store. The sales man said yes and said if I needed any help to ask him. He never gave his name. He immediately left and left me on my own. I was prepared to spend 4-$5,000 dollars which I have been saving to make a happy satisfied purchased. In the 20 minutes I was there, not one person approached me or asked if I had any questions. Many salespeople were standing around. My thoughts of disappointment," why should I spend my hard working $$ be spent here, where customer service is terrible as well as insulting. I will not walk into another Ashley store again. I do hope the owner of this store reads this for his/her business. Too, bad. I did have a living room was perfect. Oh wells, there's always other salespeople that have a heart for their customers.

Don't expect help with complaint after purchase!

Purchased reclining sofa and recliner on October 22, 2014. Began noticing popping noise immediately on sofa armrest each time I would get up..noise got louder so I called them in early December. They said if I wanted it fixed I needed to return it to warehouse..ridiculous ... Will not buy anything from them ever again!!! Worse customer service ever!! While purchasing furniture they were so helpful and promised such terrific customer service. Do yourself a favor and do not make a purchase from this company as you will probably regret it. I wish I had looked at customer review before making this purchase..
