Leather sofa peeling

I bought this sofa less than a year ago and in several areas of the couch it is peeling along with discoloration. To mention just a fiew area of the couch that is peeling such as the left armrest, the back rest area. When I called headquarters, I was told because I don't have the extended warranty this will be an out of pocket repair. They also provided a company that will repair the problem. A.F. quality furniture is worst than Rooms-To-Go. I visited Room-To-Go before purchasing the sofa at A.F. I can truly say that R.T.G were honest enough to inform me of the level of quality in their furniture. I will never again buy anything from Ashley furniture. There furniture quality is the worst I ever encountered.

Ashley Furniture Delivery Service Review

Delivery dates changed,furniture damaged and supposedly reordered but received same damaged piece two weeks later,customer service had me on hold for 47 minutes.Delivery personnel rude,received no delivery phone call as they had been given the wrong number by sales person.

Reclining power sofa broke within 18 hours ASHLEY FURNITURE

Did not even have the tags off. 1/2 of the sofa reclines the other power button does not work! Mainly complaining because we stayed on line for 46 minutes with Customer Service and still no answer! e-mailed them. Still no Answer! Called store and they said they would e-mail so-called Customer Service and have them call us. Still no call. I am very sorry we did not check out "pissedconsumer.com" before spending $1,000! I can only hope they read this and take care of it! ASHLEY FURNITURE HOMESTORE. Bought in Daytona, Fl. If they will call we can schedule repair!

Dining Room Table with all matching pieces (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ)

Purchased a dining room table with 6 chairs approx. 5 years ago. The wood on top is a Pecan color with Antique White bottom. First time we sat to have dinner, thank god we all filled our plates by the stove and carried them to the table. When cleaning up we noticed the heat from our plates left big round spots that were hard to get out. Also, constantly have water spots as soon as you place a glass on table top. One night had a friend come over to cook and she placed all the food in center of table (of course the food was removed from the hot pan and put in nice casserole dishes.) We have yet to get this heat mark out of the wood and have since learned that we must put down brown paper bags and then add place mates on top of the bags to avoid more heat marks. I also started noticing within 1st year that the wood around the edges are chipping or splintering. Very frustrating. Trying to find a table now to match the dining room cabinet and wine rack with table top is very difficult. I wouldn't mind being part of a Class Action Law Suit to get my money back on this set. Poor customer service, delivery, products

They DO NOT meet their delivery dates, keep changing!! Furniture is of poor quality. They do not follow through with their commitments to fix things that are broken. Poor staff and management. Nobody cares!! Spent countless hours on the phone trying to get my furniture delivered. Got bits and pieces. Had a dinnette table and no chairs for over 2 weeks. Had a love seat and no sofa for 2 weeks. Their products and services have really gone downhill since they first started. Go elsewhere!!! You do not want to buy from them!!!!! Read all the complaints before you go here!! I wish I would have!! This has been the worst experience of my life. I have bought from them since 2001 and I will never, ever go back into an Ashley Furniture Store again!! I spent over $6,500 on a dinette set and living room set so it was not cheap!! I would rather pay a little more and get better workmanship, quality, and customer service!!!

Ashley furniture-POOR QUALITY WOOD & FRAUD MANAGEMENT

I had tremendous dissatisfaction and inconvenience on account of purchasing Ashley Signature Sofa set from their distributor in Dubai. The Quality of the Sofa did not meet basic expectations of a Sofa set . The store representative at Atrium furniture in Dubai insisted that we can select a Sofa from the catalogue and can be rest assured about its Quality.He gave us wrong commitment on the Quality and details of the Sofa set. We had to make all necessary arrangements to ship to Sofa from Dubai to UK within a span of 2 weeks of our stay in Dubai.I am not sure what Quality checks they have in place but the Sofa set which we have received clearly is not meant to be used else it will certainly be in pieces in two weeks. First time in my life we have seen a Sofa set where there is no wood at the back and side of the Sofa set to support it.The fabric is clearly pasted with adhesive or couple of nails and is already sagging inside.Even if something light bumps into it the cloth does not come back to its original shape and understandably sags inside.The sides and back of the Sofa is suppose to look firm and strong.( pics attached ) The tags clearly read :made in CHINA.If that is the case then price and market it accordingly. The Quality of the wood is so cheap that I am at loss for words.My heart skips a beat when i think how much I have spent and what have I got in return.Does Ashley have checks on the prices or Distributors are selling per their whims and fancies. We suggest that you stop maufacturing these kinds of cheap Sofa sets and playing with peoples money and emotions.I wish full refund of my money i.e 15000dhs spent on this Sofa set and compensation of all the unnecessary harassment and inconvenience caused to us on purchase of this item. I wish a suitable investigation to this purchase and a reply from someone Senior in Ashley furnitures failing which I will approach the concerned for necessary actions.

Ashley Furniture - Appliances Review from Harris, Saskatchewan

Nov 30/14 I purchased washer/dryer, range, fridge, OTR microwave, dishwasher, Tempurpedic bed. Delivery was scheduled for Jan 17/15 in my new home and moving decisions were based on this delivery. I had been in touch with my salesman, Dwayne, who confirmed everything was a go. The delivery service states the customer will receive a call the day before to confirm a three hour window. I did not receive a call. On the day of delivery I waited until 9:30 AM and then I phoned Ashley furniture in Saskatoon where I bought the appliances. I was informed that I would not be receiving any delivery and that there was a problem at the warehouse. First I was told that the appliances were not in stock. Then I was told that my order indicated a pick up at the warehouse instead of a delivery to my home. I tried to contact customer service all day yesterday and I could not get through, instead I got recordings that said all our representatives are busy with other customers please try again later. I could not even get through to a person to talk about my issues. The other salesperson I dealt with, Shauna, actually felt bad and paid a relative to at least deliver the bed since I was sleeping on the floor. No one would have called me, I had to initiate all communication and no one put me through to Dwayne, I assumed he wasn't in but later I phoned to ask for him and he was there! I asked why he didn't bother to phone me when I was having all these problems and all he kept saying was "I apologize I know how you feel, Iapologize I know how you feel" ... I do not believe he was sorry and no he does not know how angry I feel! All he said was to call him on Monday to figure out a new delivery date! I paid $8000 for these appliances and I have no idea when I willget them and if I ask for my money back there will be a $800 restocking fee for items not in stock! Save your precious time and money and go anywhere else but not Ashley Furniture. I will never

i was lie to buy sales person, told me guardian warranties cover everything, it did not, i had tried to use warranty many times and it is like pulling teeth, it is hard to use the warranty and they always tell me, is not cover, do not spend your money buying warranties, also do not buy there durablend products, it peels off. the sales person told me it does not. I shop at colton california ashley. I thought i was buying a good quality furniture for the money. I paid too much for cheap product. I would not buy from here again and i do not recommend buying from ashley furniture. All i want is for furniture to last, i do not plan to throw things away. i do not believe in being wasteful .

Peeling sofa

We have owned two sofa from Ashley were told 100 percent leather after about 2 years first one it started peeling So we complain didn't do any good so the store we purchased it from gave us a $300.00 discount on another one and it has done same thing I will never ever buy anything that is ASHLEY furniture again so now we have spent over 3400.00 on there furniture that is no good And cant get them to do anything about it you can call and call and they give you the run around .All they are doing is stealing hard working people money and running scams. I will report them to the BBB 100 PERCENT LEATHER DOES NOT PEEL .AND THEY ARE NOT SELLING REAL LEATHER . SO PEOPLE BE AWEAR WHEN THEY TELL YOU ITS REAL LEATHER

Do u seriously think u can get an entire 100% leather set sofa a love seat for 3400.00 please get real one sofa made with a 100% leather will run you 7-8 grand you folks kill me with the foolishness you get what you pay for its cheap *** point blank period

I bought a bed in December. Its been delivered in 3 shipments & still not assembled. Now I have parts of it on the floor & leaned up against the walls of my bedroom,;for over a week. No call back from Ashley, today, about this.

A person came out last Tuesday, presumably to assemble the bed. When she got here, she started taking pictures of the parts.

I asked her, if she brought the hardware. She says "There's no hardware? Omg!". I asked her why she came out.

She said that the hardware was "sent to me." I asked when it was sent. She said about a week ago. I told her they didn't know it was missing until last Friday (about 4 days ago).

She said she would have the hardware sent to me by UPS.

Ashley Furniture - Bed Review from Dover, Delaware

So on December 20 we bought a bed set for lots of money. When we were about to leave this lady came in yelling that she ordered a bed set and that they gave her a totally different thing! I then realized that it was the same one we had just ordered. I just hoped that It wouldn't happen to me and that it was a simple mistake. Today January 8 my bed set came in and it was the wrong one! I was furious. We also had the wrong things come in too. I called and they said that they couldn't do any thing about it. We are at the store now and they still don't want to do anything about it. I recommend you to save your money and not shop here. There are plenty of other places that sell the same thing and have better service.

Wow...what a crazy story...sounds totally illegal. How did they get away with that?

I know someone who had a similar experience (at a different location), who thought they were getting a storage bed...but what arrived did not have storage. They went to the store and it was explained that the storage was optional and not included in the price. So, they paid the difference and the storage unit was delivered.

In this Cas it was just a misunderstanding. How did your situation end up?

No Delivery of Purchased Items, Still Awaiting Refund!, Bad Business Ethics & Customer Service

We purchased furniture on 11/26/2014, we were told we would have the furniture in a couple weeks and promised by the store before Christmas. We did not receive the furniture before Christmas, we received no follow up phone calls or status updates in regards to our purchase with Ashley Furniture. We had to return to the store and ask for a refund because they could not give us any updates as to when we might receive the furniture. All we were told was any day it should arrive but that is all we know. We are still waiting for our refund of $4,858.05 as of today 1/7/2015!
