Ashley Furniture - Furniture Review from Alma, Arkansas

All of my Ashley Furniture hardware has fallen off of our chest, dresser and armoir. This is very annoying and looks like cheap broken furniture now. Never EVER buying Ashley Furniture again.

I bought an electric recliner for my husband for Christmas. It was over $600.

After 2 weeks, it didn't work. I called Ashley and told them I wanted to return it and get a replacement. They said no, you have to call the company we have to do repairs. Keep in mind, it is not Ashley Furniture doing the repairs.

When I called they could not come out for at least a month. When the technician came out, he said that this was a pre-existing condition. It was nothing that we did. Fortunately, he repaired it and we have not had any other problems with it.

I would not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone.

Once you buy something there, you are stuck with it. Very bad experience.

Review about Sofa Set from Cairo, Al Qahirah

Ashley in egypt give us 4 times to deliver sofa set , every time very silly excuses like sales rep missed to write down the delivery time, shortage of delivery cars, shortage of licensed drivers , and after failing to committed 3 times , they give us fourth appointment with delivery time from 18:00-20:00, imagine now it is 23:55, and no body came!!!!

Furniture Review

Drove from San Antonio to warehouse in New Braunfels. Had a scheduled pick up. We were there at 10 am opening. Apparently they figured we weren't coming to our "scheduled" pick up and decided to return our items back the warehouse??!!. So we are sitting here in our vehicle waiting. My husband has to be at work today soon. Pissed is an understatement!!

Ashely selling fake leather furniture.

We have exact same problem with our set of sofas (Love seat and Sofa). We purchased them from Ashley furniture in Fremont, CA. Just after 2 years we noticed Sofa was peeling. When we bought them we were told that they were made of 100% leather. One of our friends bought his leather sofas from Macy's. His sofas are 10 years old, they are still in great shape. We bought 5 year warranty from MFS because we were spending $2200.0. We filed claim with MFS, they declined stating that is not covered under warranty. They put this under normal wear and tear. I've told many of friends and sent in our company group alias not to ever purchase Ashely furniture. They are just selling fake furniture.

Unfortunately your leather is not fake it is "bonded leather" - by with a very thin leather outside is bonded to a artificial backing. I also learned this the hard way....

If you are buying leather furniture you have to purchase "Top Grain" Leather - this is a full leather hide... You pay twice as much - but worth it in the end.

Called Numerous times was told dining set was in and would be delivered.

On November 11, 2014 my grandson went to Ashley Furniture Castle Creek and picked out a dining set and two bar stools. He was told 4-6 weeks. On Dec. 9th I called the store to get an update and ask where my paperwork was. (I paid for the furniture). They didn't have a good answer, gave me the warehouse number. I called them they told the table was in no chairs. I called on Dec.18th the lady said the table and chairs were in and she would schedule delivery for Dec. 20th. No delivery on Dec. 20th I called on the 21st and was told the dining set was in but they could not find where the delivery had been scheduled, would Jan 3rd or 5th do. I requested the 3rd, was told someone would be calling to confirm a time. On Jan 2nd no one had called, so I called back and was told yes the furniture would be delivered on Jan 3rd between 11:30 - 2:30.Again I asked now that is the table and 4 chairs, she assured me the set would be delivered. I checked with my grandson at 3:30 and nothing had been delivered. I called again and was told they were in transit to the apt. Now I'm told the table was delivered but no chairs and the lady told them maybe in Feb..!!! What a crock...they are liars, worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Have no idea when he will get the chairs or bar stools!!!!!

Furniture Quality or lack thereof

I have a leather set (couch, loveseat, and chair with ottoman) that I purchased for lots of money. First the springs broke in one area of the couch and now the leather is cracking and peeling. I have had it for 4 years. The warranty company is a joke and so is Ashley Furniture. They basically told me tough. I've had it for 4 years. Wow, way to stand behind your product! I have tried to contact their service department at the store in Rockford, IL and their 800 number and they are all worthless. I'll never shop there again.

Agree with complaint about quality of furniture sold

I sat in the Store's Parking lot and handed out flyers with pictures of the damage, they tried to move me but I was in a public parking lot, and I am was in Legally a handicap parking spot... It took two visit like this before the Store Manager EXCHANGED FOR EQUAL VALUE... well to make a long story short I SETTLED FOR A SET I DID NOT WANT, used some of the money for a kitchen set for my daughter, both are gone after two years... *** THEY SELL ***... AND THEY SELL IT AT FLEA MARKETS AND OTHER FURNITURE STORES.. IF YOU SEE ASHLEY RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN TO ANY PLACE OTHER THAN ASHLEY.

Poor quality furniture

I purchased a Ashley brand mattress, 5 piece dinning set and a leather sofa in 2011. The dining set chairs are falling apart and the mattress has a bubble in the middle. I contacted Ashley and they directed me to contact the warranty company Guardsman. When I contacted them they stated that I passed the time limit to cover the warranty and they do not cover wear & tear. I informed them it could not be wear & tear and I did not know what happened, it just started falling apart. Fast forward to the other issue with the mattress. My nephew who is a toddler was sleeping in my bed and had accident and I found out the mattress protector that the store representative told me I had to purchase from Ashley did not work as promised. Ashley corporate office representative said they would honor my warranty on the mattress because it had soiled spots, which voids the warranty. Even though, I purchased the mattress pad from them and it fell. I have never experience anything like this in my lifetime. Before, purchasing furniture from Ashley I had furniture that I bought from Wicks furniture that lasted me almost 20 years with no problems. The only reason I bought new furniture is because I renovated my home. I gave my old furniture to a family member and it is doing better than the furniture I purchase from Ashley in 2011. The customer relation service I have received from Ashley and their subsidiary warranty company they use is deplorable. The company that I was referred to for cleaning my mattress is Tri County Furniture Service. I repeatedly informed them of the times I was available to have the tech to clean the mattress. They repeatedly ignored my availability and set up the times when I would not be home. I finally, had to ask for a supervisor and they promised they would give me a time frame that would fit my availability. Of course, they again ignored my stated availability. The last time I was transferred to a supervisor, who identified himself as the owner. The "owner" stated that he recorded me(without my knowledge or consent & illegal in the U.S.) stating I will be available on Dec. 26th or 27th. I informed him that if he did record me "illegally" he would have heard me stated and agree to the 26th. I told him this is the worst customer relation experience that I have ever had. When the company totally disregards the customer's request. He proceeded to get very irate and told me that he was cancelling my account and I can call Guardsman and have another company come and clean my mattress. I was lost for words and in total disbelief with what just happened. At that point, I would never allow anyone from that company come into my home, because I would not feel comfortable or safe, if that is how the "owner" treats his customer and the example he sets for his employees. Finally, it appears that everything associated with Ashley Furniture is of low quality from the furniture, warranty and customer relations. Please DO NOT PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!!!!

Ashley Furniture - Warranty Review from Pottstown, Pennsylvania

My husband and I brought funiture from Ashleys about a two years ago. We were told by the sales man that if we invested in the 5 year warranty plan, it was guarenteed that our funiture would be cleaned or replaced in an event damage was to occur. Ok fast foward two years later. My newborn baby had a couple of feeding accidents and I called the warrenty. No problem...eveything will be ok. Or so I thought. A technician from the rug doctor came and took pics of my funiture. I inquired if he planned to even attempt to clean my funiture. He stated to me that he could not, but would submit the pics so that my funiture would be replaced. Two months went by without yet hearing from a customet service rep. When I finially called, I was informed that my claim was closed due to an accumulation of stains, which in Ashleys term two stains is an accumulation. Had to wait forever to speak with a supervisor, which was a waste of my god given breath. I informed them that if I paid for a service, an ATTEMPT at least could have been made to clean my funiture. Every poor excuse I was given to why they could not help me, did not suffice. Not only is the clause section for the warrenty very vague, but I do not appreciate being lied to in order to beat me out of money for a poor warrenty. To make no attempts to satisfy a paying customer is absurd. The saying " A customer is always right" is apparently forgein to them and after reading so many poor reviews, I will definately shop at American Signature Funiture the next time around!

I bought a sectional leather for the family room. It took 6 months to start the problems on the pieces, the leather start to peeling and it took Ashley in PR 6 months to cover the warranty, therefore the other 3 pieces start to peel but Ashley warranty coverage is one year. There answer was is out of warranty. Why buy from Ashley if the trick your time and steal your money selling Cheap furniture.

El vendedor no te informa que en Puerto Rico no hay almacén por lo tanto se van a tardar mas de un mes en hacer la entrega, luego de la espera llevaron a la casa una mercancía rota, no la recibí, espere tres semanas adicionales y me llevaron una mercancía aun más dañada que la primera. Aun estoy esperando respuesta de de me van a devolver mi dinero o no. Ahora me dicen que la política de devolución es un crédito en la tienda paro que no me devuelven el dinero, yo page en efectivo (ATH) $ 1,600 ¿Que les parece? Ahora me toca ir a DACO a poner una querella, pierdo tiempo de trabajo, gasolina, energias.
