Tables are delivered and assembled on April 18 everything at first looked fine. Then when I started cleaning the dusty tables I noticed these black straps on the bottom. No big deal I can just cut them off. One table looks ok just had to remove black straps. Get over...

I had this issue too, I tossed the sofa and recliner. It took me removing them from home, and deep cleaning house to remove the smell and any chemicals left behind, to even start feeling semi human again. No sofa is worth dying for.

Ashley Furniture review in Jackson, Tennessee: The company lied about delivery to make a sale, and will not deliver furniture or refund

The jackson tn store made a number of lies to complete a sale, particularly a sales person Bobby Morgan. After being told it would take three weeks maximum to get new furniture it has now been over four weeks without furniture and potentially another two to go. The company had refused to let me cancel the order without paying a fee, will not return phone calls. I did have one rude call from the sales person telling me I was making this all up. The corporate office will not do anything since it is a private store. Anyone I talk to passes the buck to someone else and they all act like they don't know or cannot do anything about this issue

OMG! I wish you would have done your research.

I could have told you those people are a bunch of jerks who take money and never deliver the goods. They did that to a family member. They said their furniture would take no more than 2 to three weeks, but it turned into over 4 months. They went in and tried the same *** with them.

At that point, they made such a scene and threatened to call the police that they had no choice but to give their money back to my relative. Anyone reading this, if you decide to go to Ashley Furniture, make sure they write down an actual delivery date on the sales receipt and have it signed by a manager. At that point, if they don't deliver, you can hold them responsible to that date.

I hate that place. Good luck.

My wife and I bought a leather sectional from Ashley Furniture in Fort Wayne Indiana less than three years ago. It was supposedly one of their nicer leather sectionals. We purchased the extended warranty. The leather has began to crack, peel and deteriorate. We...

Same here ... I spent a good amount of cash on some new furniture from Ashley in Virginia Beach, VA when I was moving into my condo ...

3 pieces (a, what I call now pleather couch, chair and ottoman to go with the chair at some 1200 bucks - I was a grad student at the time, so that's a lot of money). Bought the extended warranty to go with it ... and needless to say, about a year or so later I moved across state lines and took the furniture with me. During the move, the sofa was somehow stained and low and behold, the company denied my claim for cleaning.

A few months after the move, the cushions started sagging terribly, to the point where I now roll into the middle of the couch. Then, a few weeks after that, the leather started peeling off the cushions and again ... no coverage ... I am wondering what I bought the coverage for to begin with ...

but with that being said, I will never, ever spend my money at this place again. They'll serve you gold plated lies on a silver platter and have apparently never heard of customer care before.

Worthless. I'll rather sit on beach chairs.

I am going through the same nightmare, spent over $5000 on a bedroom set back in December (St. James store), and after 7 delivery attempts all the pieces are still cracked and damaged, but yet they want all my money upfront.

The customer service reps and managers are a real nightmare to deal with. On the 7th (April 30) delivery attempt, I was told by customer service that everything will be inspected at the warehouse before it's loaded on the truck for delivery...everything showed up at my house the way it was received from their vendor, nothing was opened and inspected as promised...real surprise there! I was promised a call back from customer service within an hour after I rejected the delivery, one week later and still didn't get a call back, and I had to call them back, only to have to deal with a rude customer service rep. This was my first purchase and would most definitely be my last.

I know they are trying frustrate me and hoping I would give up and back down. But it’s not going to happen.

I am in the process of seeking legal advice to file suit against Ashley Furniture not only for my money back but also damages due to frustration, inconvenience, negligence and solicitor's costs. This bullying has to stop.

Ashley Furniture review in Winnipeg, Manitoba: Rude salesperson

My husband and I went to Ashley Furniture in Winnipeg St. James on Saturday April 5th at about 2.30 pm. We entered the store and we started looking at the products. We are building our new home so we started browsing all the areas. Then a salesperson approached to us and asked what brought us there that day and we told him that we were browsing. He left us and we kept looking around. Then he approached us again asking if we wanted a flyer we politely said no and he wouldn't take no for an answer. He started coming too close to us and invading our personal space. When we refused to take the flyer he asked "what are you looking for?" At this point my husband started getting frustrated and told him "nothing". And the salesperson asked if he was bothering us and my husband said yes. He said it was his job and told us we should have stayed at home and browsed the website instead of coming to the store. He was rude, invading our personal space and wouldn't let us browse peacefully. My husband and I have a pretty wide social circle and we decided to spread the word in person and online.

Ashley Furniture review in Jacksonville, Florida: Glider power loveseat

I was also lied about services. I felted in love with these gliders loveseat that we purchase two. After about 2 months the color stared to change color and look like the loveseat are peeling. It took several phone calls for service tech to come out. He came out and states that he needed to order come parts. Now it's going on 4 weeks and when you call the store to speak to the manager they are always with a customer and no one seems to call you back. We also paid for a5 year protection plan. We should have stayed with Rooms to Go.what kind of furniture wants you to submit a picture first. I will never purchase another thing again. As far as I concern they can come pick it up.

I NEEDED TO PURCHASE A MATTRESS FOR MY DAUGHTER FROM THE SPRINGDALE,AR STORE AFTER PURCHASING 4 DINNING ROOM CHAIRS. I CALLED SEVERAL TIMES TO THE SALES ASSOCIATE JOSE THAT HAD HELPED ME BEFORE AND HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK. NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK. ALSO, I HAVE RECEIVED BY MAIL 2 DIFFERENT TIMES TO PURCHASE MERCHANDISE AS A VIP ON CERTAIN DATES AND TIMES. WELL THE COUPON ARRIVES IN THE MAIL 1 WEEK AFTER COUPON IS VALID. I FEEL THIS IS NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WILL NEVER BUY FROM ASHLEY'S FURNITURE AGAIN AND I WILL RECOMMEND NO ONE ELSE DO IT EITHER. THIS JUST NOT ACCEPTABLE AND I UNDERSTAND WHY THERE ARE SO MANY COMPLAINTS ON THIS COMPANY. AND BY THE WAY, THE CHAIRS I BOUGHT ARE SO FLEMSY AND NOT OF GOOD QUALITY. I SURE HOPE THIS COMPLAINT MAKES IT TO THE OWNER.
