I called Ashley Furniture customer service back and did send in photos. After 6 weeks they did replace my recliner and couch at no charge.

Although they did end the warrantee. So I did get a replacement for 2 out of three, but did loose my next 3 years of warrantee.

So your warranty got you a brand new set and you are complaining? It is pretty much known once you cash in on a plan it has served its purpose- duh.

Psh, why is this listed under awesome ashley's? this is a MONTAGE related complaint!!!

Sorry you were to dang rough on the highest quality furniture out there, totally not ashleys fault.

Ashley's furniture stores are dedicated to give the highest quality furniture on the market, if you mess it up its not Ashley's fault! AM I RIGHT PEOPLE!

Ashley Furniture Ripoff

I bought a brown leather furniture recliner couch at Ashleys for $900 on sale plus a 5 year warranty for $100. I did not initially want the warranty but after a high pitch sales pitch from the salesperson, I agreed to do so. In less than 6 months the couch was cracking, peeling and the so-called leather was fading and discolored. The warranty turned out to be useless as they said it was normal wear and tear. I will never buy any products from Ashley Furniture ever again. In this economy for them to callously take people's money with inferior products is shameful.

This Durablend is ***!

Durablend is peeling off, and getting worse as time goes by. My Ashley Durablend is only 2 years old, and looks terrible!

I will never buy Ashley furniture again!

I bought a brown leather sofa from Ashley in Grapevine. They gave me misinformation about Premier warranty and it was never disclosed that they will not be responsible for their shabby products.

They do not care about customer satisfaction and care less about the quality of their product.

They do not exchange or refund their she the product is defective nor do they care about customer comments.

Do not buy at Ashley. They stink.

Ashley Furniture review in Torrance, California: Peeling durablend ashley sofa and loveseat

Less than two yrs after purchasing this set,they began peeling and cracking all over. My floor is constantly covered in little peeled off pieces. This furniture is a POS! Bring on a class action lawsuit..... And unfortunately this appears to be a common problem with this durablend. It is not what the company has represented it to be at all. Just check out all the negative reviews on the web and do not buy! Stay away and use the money on quality furniture that will last. Hard to believe ashley isn't concerned about their products or their customers either for that matter.

I PURCHASED A COUCH FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE IN SEPT OF LAST YEAR. BY JUNE I HAD TO CALL TO HAVE IT PICKED UP TO BE REPAIRED THEY DID A *** JOB IT'S WORSE NOW THAN BEFORE. I CALLED A FEW WEEKS BACK LEFT A PHONE NUMBER I WAS GOING TO HAVE THEM PICK IT UP AGAIN DIDN'T GET A CALL BACK. I CALLED THEM TODAY 9/4 THEY SAID WARRENTY WAS UP TO BAD I'M SAD I WOULD HAVE TO GET RID OF IT MYSELF. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE DISHONEST.

Yep, that was my experience with Ashley -- of the five living room pieces we bought, one arrived damaged, and one didn't arrive at all. It took 6 weeks FIVE failed 'attempts' at delivery (they kept saying the item had arrived but was 'damaged' or said the item wasn't paid for - it was weeks ago!- and on another occasion, it simply "wasn't on the manifest" -- we finally had the store deliver us the (damaged) store sample, just so we could be done with it !

They are unbelievably incompetent and I would never darken their doorway again ! Run from them !

I agree!! My parents bought two chairs.

Took for ever to get them and when they did arrive each came separately over two weeks. One of them had a seam already coming loose upon arrival at the house. Terrible quality and just as you mention, they will not call you back!! REASON, too many people calling in and complaining.

AVOID this company!! They do not back there brand!!
