Stay Away From ----Ashley Furniture----

Ok it starts with me purchasing a chair,ottoman,bed and mattress, all paid in full.2-3wk delivery time so they deliver on the last day of the 3rd wk and are 1hr late from time given to me for delivery. Chair and ottoman ok only 1/2 the bed survived the delivery truck as the other 1/2 was broken.So get call from customer service for a new delivery of the rest of the bed 4 days later.Ok so today they pull up and the 2 super intelligent installers are standing at back of truck for 20min. before letting me know they dont have my delivery.According to their contract they pull,open,inspect,and prepare the following days deliveries the day before...HAHAHAHAHA There's more!! Just Stay Away From Ashley

Ashley Furniture review in Baltimore, Maryland: Failed to provide needed furniture piece.

Ashley Furniture Homestore 615 Baltimore Pike Bel Air, MD Furniture needed assembly, box missing piece. Spent 5 weeks trying to get piece and store failed to provide needed piece. Never received a call back with status, initially part was not ordered, phone calls to store were not returned, employees are not helpful. Sent the wrong part. Could never get status on part needed. Store Manager was annoyed when we asked for status of the piece. We were told we were "Very Important Customers but we have a thousand customers so we can't call everyone". Purchase at your own risk.

Me and my mom was in your store, ashly furniture in cinti oh in tri county,for over an hr, looking for a bedroom set, not one of your sales people approach us to see if we had any questions, which we did, not did they ask if they can help us find anything we walked around the whole store, very unprofessional I was very unhappy with the customer sales service, you lost a cash paying customer today the date was on friday oct 21st didn't understand why you have this big store with all these sales reps and no help

Ashley Furniture review in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: Delivered damage furniture

I had furniture delivered today that's damaged. I called the store and evveryone I spoke to transfered me to someomeone else. This is very frustrating. I am going to the store this evening a speak to someone in person. They have one week to deliver a new sofa to my house or come pick u the loveseat that came with the set and refund my money. I will never buy vfrom Asley's again. They have a history of delivering damaged furniture. Obviously they don't wrap the furniture in blankets like Raymore and Flanagan to avoid damages. They just pack furniture on top of furniture to avoid using more then on truck

Don't buy furniture from this company. They delivered damage furniture.

Poor customer serv. I was stuck with a 600 dollar kitchen dinning set. Four damage chairs.

I went back to the store and they told me to call cutomer serv. Customer serv was no help at all.

I think everyone here should make a formal complaint with the BBB and file a civil suit to get warranty money back because they are scamming people. It is just sad! I have my original receipt and everything. I was never given a pamphlet on the warranty but was told whenever I need service just call the store and they can pull it up. The customer service ends as soon as they take your payment because even if you never leave the store and change your mind about something they will give you a hassle and you will be lucky if you get a refund vs a store credit. Ridiculous! They are used to people just complaining but not actually doing anything (legally) to get their money back. There needs to be a lot of people who agree to start a class action lawsuit to get their money back because they are lying to customers about the warranty and services and they provide.

On the date of 10/24/11

I purchased a living room set from Ashley Furniture .The set consisted of ,A couch and love seat, 2 end tables ,one soft table.I thought I was buying a quality product

The couch and love seat of made of a material called DURA/BLEND. This material was said to be a leather,synthetic blend. I was told by Ashley that this was more durable then leather,and not as hot in the summer,Also better than leather .I was lead to believe .Well today's date 11/12/11. The couch is peeling every ware you sit .I bought an extended warranty .Guess what the warranty dose not cover PEELING ,What a joke. So now I am stuck with a couch and love seat that s ready for the garbage man.Two of the end tables , paint is coming off.What did they use Water paint ?? As for the local the local ,this is not there fault .I am not blaming them.The local store is forced to buy there furniture from Ashley Warehouse.All of there furniture come from here

Where is this Ashley located? There are hundreds of stores all over the country -- maybe it's just the one store in your city. I'm hoping it's not the one located in mine!!

Horrible chairs from Ashley furniture

We're stuck with horrible dining room chairs and they won't take them back.10 days after delivery you can see wear and tear on it.Bad quality!!!the sales person did not tell me that there is no Return Policy!!! DO NOT buy furniture from Ashley Furniture. They don't care and they're rude. I loved the chairs in the store but they're not the same at home. And the sales rep I spoke with- Mike was desperate for commission and the manager couldn't do anything.So I am stuck with $500 horrible , horrible chairs!!!!!!!

I spent 2,000. dollars for a living rm. furniture at ashley I gat guardsman protection for 5 years I paid 169.99 and was told if I don't use it I'll get all of my money back. well ashley told me that they don't do the plain anymore but what about me I paid off furniture an never used the protection plain so where is my money. somebody lied. I don't think I'll ever buy anything from guardsman or ashley. because they tell lies and don't honer there word.as well know as ashley you would think they where better than this.

Yup, horror stroy after horror story. Bought a leather couch.

Ripped in 2 weeks. they were going to sew it... like dude. you can see it.

Customer service is a joke...

My husband and I got furniture from Ashley too. We got the guardsman plan too.

When we tried to use the plan on the defective furniture we called Guardmans and were sent their forms. The forms called for info that I needed help to get. When I found a strong young man to lift up my furniture I got the numbers they wanted and sent in the form. Guardmans refused to pay out claim since it took me more than the ten days they allow for returning a claim to them.

I had told them I would not be able to return the forms in ten days, that my husband had surgery and I could not lift the sofa to get the numbers. They said okay then, only to say later too bad. They refused to let me file another claim too. It was like I was banned by them.

SO when I called Ashley to get my money back for the Guardmans plan they acted like they never heard I could get my money back and I left messages for the manager to call me and I have never heard back. They blamed the sale's man that no longer worked there for telling us a lie. Seems that is a lie they love to tell over and over.

I would not have gotten the Guardmans plan if I had not been told I could not loose the money. Crooks both of them.

Ashley did the same thing to me. I got the guardsman plan too.

When I decided to cancel the plan and get my money back they said I was lied too and they never give back money from the guardmans plan and they don't use that plan any more.

They lied. I am out the money I gave them for protection and when I did not use it I did not get my money back.

Not recommended at all. *** lot of issues in products quality & delivery. They deliver damaged or display pieces, not new. Once you make payment, no one would listen to you. Customer services is pathetic. I purchased items of $5000+ and got damaged love seat delivered worth $700. Now, from last 1 month i am begging to fix it or replace it. Their delivery truck driver calls once and lie that you are not at home and goes back without delivery....May be its a trick for drivers to earn extra money working extra hours....Manager does not come in line if you want to complain....

I would like to begin by stating that this company does not stand behind the little people who makes things run smooth for their establishment.They have lied to their customers by sending fixed on or furniture that has been sent back to the warehouse(refusals by unsatisfied customers)and pushed it off as brand new.They also have unreported funds on a system where they charge the delivery team for damaged merchandise returned and isnt reported to the irs,whereas the delivery team suffers with shorts on their checks on furniture that the company knows is already defective.UNFAIR.
