Great Customer Service

WE PURCHASED A DINING SET FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. PRIOR TO IT BEING DELIVERED THEY CONTACTED US TO ADVISE THAT DURING SHIPMENT SOME OF THE GLASS IN THE CHINA CABINET WAS SHATTERED AND THAT THEY WOULD HAVE A SERVICE TECHNICIAN COME OUT AND REPAIR THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN REPAIRED THE GLASS AND ASHLEY FURNITURE PROVIDED US WITH A SMALL REFUND TO COVER THE COST OF THE INCONVENIENCE THIS HAD CAUSED US. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SECOND TO NONE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. WE WERE VERY PLEASED, EVERYTHING FROM THE QUALITY OF THE FURNITURE TO THE SALES STAFF AND OF COURSE THE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE WE RECEIVED.

Ashely Furniture in AZ are criminals.

Im the dummy that had one bad experience and decided to give Ashleys another chance, just to be bewildered with disappointment. Better make sure you know exactly what you want before you order and better make sure you have until ETERNITY for it to arrive! Never mind the promises, promises about delivery. Oh yah,, and dont expect the right pieces when it finally gets there. And DEFINATELY don't expect any measures to be taken to work with you on any disagreements. Delivered previously used couch wont give money back

Ordered sofa and loveseat. We received a previously owned sofa. We called and told them right away the couch material has spots material is crushed under cushions has crumbs and animal fur. Throw pillows strings are hanging off of them. They sent tech out he said yes we accidentally sent you a returned sofa you should pick new ones because we have gotten complaints about this material before. We did not find another set that we liked so we told them we want our money back They said we would have to pay 30% of what we paid for the furniture. No help from customer service they should not call it CUSTOMER SERVICE because it sure is'nt.

I WOULD HAVE TO DISAGREE WITH YOU TOTALLY. FROM WHAT I KNOW AND MY EXPERIENCES WITH THIS COMPANY ASHLEY FURNITURE, THEY DO MAKE A LOT OF JUNK, I OWN SOME OF THE JUNK.

HAD TO HAVE IT REPLACED, AND DID NOT WAIT NO MONTH NO 3 WEEKS AND WHEN THEY SEND THE SERVICE MAN TO MY HOME FOR REPAIRS, HE TOOK ONE LOOK AT ME, AND KNEW, THAT I WOULD NOT SETTLE FOR ANYTHING LESS THEN A NEW SOFA, AND TABLE SET. THEY BOTH CAME WITH MAJOR ISSUES, THAT I MADE SURE GOT RESOLVED, I STAYED ON THEM EACH AND EVERY DAY, DRIVING THEM NUTS IN THE MAIN OFFICE, I DID NOT CARE. THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, OR A SENSE OF HOW GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE RELATES TO THE CUSTOMER. I KNOW PLENTY OF PEOPLE WHO WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN, BECAUSE OF DECEIVING PRACTICES, THAT SEEM TO GO ON AT EACH AND EVERY INDEPENDENT ASHSLEY FURNITURE STORE, NO MATTER THE STATE.

COMPLAIN TO YOUR LOCAL DISTRICT ATTORNEY OFFICE, AND TELL THEM AT ASHLEY THAT YOU ARE GOING TO. I DID EVERY DAY DROVE THEM INSANE. THIS IS WHAT THEY DID TO ME UPON RECEIVING DAMAGED FURNITURE FROM THEM, NEW FURNITURE IS SUPPOSE TO BE JUST THAT NEW.

Do Not Buy Ashley Furniture!

I also purchased a couch and loveseat from Ashley Furniture that is garbage. They make it sound so nice ans high quality, but when you get it home it looks like it came from Big Lots. I tried out the loveseat....and left the couch in its wrapping. It has been 2 years and I still haven't had any desire to even look at the *** thing. I can't even sell it and it is brand new. The fabric is such *** that if you try to wipe it with a wet cloth the color comes out of the fabric, it leaves terrible water marks. I would suggest never purchasing anything that is made by Ashley, go to Big Lots instead.

We bought our bed and mattress from Ashley furniture and are very satisfied. We received great customer service, though we did have trouble with the delivery. I was really surprised to see so many negative comments on here, as our bed is actually of a lot higher quality than more expensive ones we checked out in other furniture stores.

Buyer beware! They do not take returns for any reason and they could care less about customer satisfaction. There is a reason why Ashley feels they are #1 in the business--it's because they screw the customer, and money is the bottom line!!

Ashley Furniture ripped me off!

I purchased something on Friday night, went in to cancel the purchase the following Sunday. They are charging me a 15% restocking fee. I feel like such a fool for ever shopping there in the first place. I am going to see if I can fight it, but Ashley Furniture told me that the 3 day grace period is not their policy. They lied to me at time of purchase, and then followed their lie up with charging me money. I think they should be reported!! They must teach their salesman what to say. Do not trust Ashley Furniture and do not believe their sales people.

The Law says you have the right to cancel ANY contract within 3 business days. This may be waived in some states.

So all consumers should make sure they know their states laws before signing a contract.

This is not true of returns to stores that have restocking fees such as an electronics store but for items that require a contract be signed.

However in this case of a furniture sale. If the item has not been delivered and you are within 3 days period you should be able to cancel without penalty. If the item had been delivered or picked up within the 3 days you may have a problem because than they will try for the restocking fee as the items were considered delivered. If it had not I would then take it up with my credit card co.

& the store would recieve a charge back for items not recieved. They then can fight it out.

Worst customer service ever

We just remolded our home and bought all new furniture from Ashley, Well guess what the product is lack luster at best and the customer service is the worst. Ashley calls after every delivery to ask how the technician was, well guess what Ashley the technicians are not the problem, The problem is the delayed deliveries, The problem is the huge chunk taken out of my wall on delivery then the company says they wil be out next month to fix it, The problem is when my new $800.00 table shows up it is broken, Yes two of the four legs broken then you have to wait for a technician to come out and tell you we can replace the legs so deal with it. The problem is they still haven't sent the new legs which I have to replace when they arrive and Ashley doesn't care. They do not want to hear it. I had to hang up on the little pain in the *** that I was speaking with because her only response was "sir i understand your upset but that is our policy" I asked her if there was someone that I could speak with that could do something about it, Her response " sir we are doing all that we can we can send out new legs and thats all". Long story short guys do not buy anything from Ashley, I have learned my lesson I will never walk in the store again, Please understand I'm not just upset about a table this isn't a one time deal. We furnished an entire home $15,000-$17,000 and had nothing but problems with delivery dates and things showing up broken or scratched or dented or not at all. Shame on us for putting up with it and giving them the benefit of the dought, Now that they have our money it's a "deal with it" attitude. Well guess what RC Willey just hang in there because Ashley will be your newest and best asset there customer service will send people to your store by the dozens, I know I will do all of my business through RC Willey from now on, I never had service issues with RC Willey and I guess I should have stayed there. Ashley gets you i the show room with the furniture that is there it looks good and seems fairly priced, But when it gets to your home it is thrashed and does not stand up to even normal wear. Keep up the good work RC Willey I'm back with open arms.

purchased a sofa set from Ashley furniture Catonsville store, 10 days back and while placing the order Manager Von agreed to deliver it on 07-17-08 but on 18th he is saying he cant recollect what he promised to me. while placing the order He told me to write on my order about delivery date also before siging it. All the staff in this store is hard to deal with. I dont know what type of service is this. once they promise it why can't they deliver otherwise they have to say upfront then we'll decide to make purchase with them or not. Its purely taking advantage of the customers. to cancell that order they are charging me 30 % of the purchage. Even now also they are not giving any pertcular delivery date for my order. they want to deliver it when they have it or when the stock is ready. My saleperson was Hena Khan and the Manager name was Von.they'll agree to every thing before placing the order and after that they wont even care about you. I wont recommend this store if you expect a good service from them.

I had extensive issues with this particular store. Terrible customer service, they couldn't get me my stuff on time.

I contacted corporate, they said "Each store is individually owned and operated blah blah we will forward your request to the appropriate place". All bull! I never heard back. You would think corporate would want to know if a store is blackening their name.

Stay far far away from this store. Read their reviews before you go there!

I bought a sectional from ashley in altamonte springs florida.I have contacted them and the sent 2 techs out .one to repair and one to inspect.I have pictures showing the horrible repairs and now the want to sent another 2 techs.The furniture was delivered unwrapped and no tags on loveseat (damaged part).how many hours are theygonna use of mine to replace what is suppose to be new,just replace it,they said it is their option to repair. never again will I pay cash for a large purchase as you have no back up.

My nightstand drawer pull broke as well and I had the extended protection plan. I was told that the handles are not covered.

What a joke to pay $49.99 for the 5 year plan to find out handle not covered. What a joke.

Ashley furniture home stores, AZ is ripping off the customers with extended warranties

I did purchase a leather sectional 7 seater couch and other bedroom furnitures from ashley furnitures in year 2007 and got an leather protection plan paying an extra 199$. when i purchased the sales person said they will fix the leather if any damages happens due to accident or by any incident. During the first 6 months I had a problem with my leather peel off and cracking. I called them and they sent a technician to fix the issue. First time the technician who came to fix it, tried to put the dye to match the color and it turned out to be so bad. I called second time after a month and they sent the technician to fix the same. This time the technician said he has to replace the 2 seats and he will order the parts and someone will contact me from ashley reg the same. After 2 weeks the parts were delivered and the technician who came said its a wrong part and he will update them with the correct part. After 4 weeks the part did arrive and he did fix the same. Now, after 5 months the same problem is occuring leather peel off / cracking and when i called they said they have revised the policy and they wont send anyone out since the warranty expired. When i purchased they said i have an extended warranty for 5 years, and now they said they reduced to 3 yrs and i never was notified with anything. Now they asking me to pay 45$ at store where I purchased to have technician comeout to look at the problem and they are not sure whether they will cover this or not. Ashley furniture homestores in arizona are ripp off and donot buy the leather protection plan or the fabric protection plan.. its a ripp off . They are just ripping people money off and provide worst customer service in the world. Beware of this ashley furniture leather protection plan. . Do not buy it. I am trying to contact the newschannel investigation department to do some reasearch about these scams and ripp offs about these guys. I have all the valid proof that they are just trying to ripp people off.

Very disappointed

I purchase furniture's from Ashley Furniture since may 2008 i was given a delivery date schedule for June 22nd and here it is July 16th i have not received any furniture i would not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone i went to the store an spoke with the store manager and ask him what was taking them solong for me to received my funiture it was some of the funiture was not in stock and the manufacture have to build the missing pieces the store the funiture's is nice but it not Shop at ASHLEY Store's Sucks.

Well guess what I hate to be the bearer of bad news but take it from me, Your nightmare has only began. Make sure once they do deliver to inspect every inch of the furniture and refuse it if anything so much as a scratch is found, We have had nothing but problems with the stuff we purchased, Broken items,furniture wears out within months, Horrible cutomer service.

They will do repairs on thier terms and don't care what you have to say. It's the old adage of don't pay before you get the product, Well at ashley they make you pay first because they know the product is garbage, We funished a whole house with them and have had one problem or another with everything we bought, I will never deal with them again. Save yourself if you can and get your money back before it's too late.

I am considering a class action if I can get enough people interested, Someone needs to tell them enough is enough. They are nothing more than a scam.

Ahley furniture dealers sold us a couch just three months ago thats falling apoart too.

Ashley furniture dealers sold us a couch three months ago that's olive color with two end recliners that is falling apart. The cushions on the ends are sinking into the middle. the stuffing on the foot rest are flat to the wood. The recliners wont stay extended. The foot rest on the recliners have sharp edges where cushioning has pulled away. I complained to the furniture store on 6/28/08 . where i bought it. I bought it on 4/4/08. The furniture store came and took pic's and said they sent them by email to Ashley's home office. We shall see what happens?

We purchased pub table and barstools. Moved and put our items in storage.

We've misplaced the hardware and Ashley's furniture will not sale us the hardware. Customer Service told me to go to home depot. I went to 3 different stores, all home depots do not carry the hardware. Think twice before taking apart your items.

Ashleys is not helpful.

My items are in great condition but are useless without the hardware, I'm willing to PAY for the hardware............... :(

We bought an olive sofa and love seat in Dec. '07 and have hardly even sat on it and now that we have been using the sofa some the cushions are already flat. We have to put our accent pillows under our bottoms to sit comfortably.

Ya us too, The recliners are garbage and the cushions are flat, The store we bought it from is aware of it and they don't care. our tables are falling apart and guess what, You think you are buying a wood table and it turns out it's plastic. Ashley shame on you for scamming all of your customers, Your company is a fraud and you should be sued for every penny you have, Consumers do not need predators like you out there.

Ashley Furniture Is Decieving. Sales Manager Jarred is Rude!!

I purchased a bedroom set for my son. Shelley was very helpful. I asked if set would be available in the future so I could purchase a couple of peices later. Shelley went to her sales manager a came back with a price for all the peices. I was able to purchase everything that day. Shelley also offered a deal on a full matress set. $379 for originally $549. She said that the price would be good prior to delivery on the furniture. Went back to purchase the set and Jarred, the sales manager would not honor the price. He was rude and told me that i was lucky to get what I received and that he would have never okayed the mattress price, even it I bought everything the same day. Then he tells me that if I want to give back some money from the purchase of the bedroom set, he might be able to offer me a discount on the mattress set. I asked him if he was serious. He said I asked for the discount on the furniture and I was lucky to get what I got. I never asked for the discount, Shelley said to me let me see what I can do for you and I'll ask my manager what we can offer you. Ha,ha what a joke. I called Customer Service and they never got back to me. They are the worst company to deal with. I still can't get anyone to call me back. I would have cancelled the order, but was told I'd have to pay a restocking fee that was 30% of what I paid for the furniture. What a joke. I will never deal with them again and I will be very vocal about telling others to stay away from Ashley. I'm thinking of standing on the sidewalk in front of the store with a sign and telling people not to deal with Ashley.

Ashley Does Not Honor Warranty's

I will make this short and to the point to make all aware if you have any issues with your furniture how their so called warranty works. We had purchased our first brand new sectional sofa from the Wilmington,NC store. After a month i reconfigured the arrangement and noticed the metal frames under the recliner pieces were rusted. After multiple visits from their technicians saying they didn't know what to tell us the store owner came out and told us the same. They said we made a one month old mtal frame rust, yeah right! We took them to small claims court and discovered they give the customer a warranty and the store manager decides weather or not to honor it. Does that seem fair? The court didn't think so so they ruled in our favor. Do you think we have seen a dime of that money? NO! This company and store have got to be the biggest joke i have ever seen. I will discourage everyone from doing business with this company.

ordered furniture from ashley furniture on 5/19/08 have not been able to get furniture or refund 108 harbison blvd, columbia, sc 29212 warehouse dont have any details as well item id629**** and 629**** invoice 7599 have not been able to get any defiant date for arrival from warehouse store manager no longer answers phone called other columbia location spoke with manager issue still unresolved no one seems to know anything your managers are not representing your company well it seems as if i have paid for a product that ashley furniture is unable to deliver where is my furniture
