No straight answers, do they think were *** | Ashley Furniture review from Southaven, Mississippi

i purchased a bed and mattress set from ashley furniture on april 2 2008. i was told it would be delivered in two weeks. well two weeks later i called them only to be told it will be instead of two weeks, two months. customer service was very rude and the store of purchase did not seem to realize there was a problem or anything else for that matter. the store manager and sales ***. had different information and the customer service person told me something else. i would not recommend buying anything from ashley furniture, i wont be. mad in mississippi.

hi i know what you mean i would not refer anyone to ashley. i had the same experience with them , it took over 3 months to get my stuff, and i was told 2-3 weeks

management does not know how to talk to employees. the way they refer to you is by cursing [what the ***, what is this *** ***, let this pass this is good etc, when the furniture is wrong. they want qc to pass every piece no matter what, it can be wrong. especially the new management on motion line. could you do something about this, everyone wants to quit motion. we've been yelled at, mistreated, offended by the words of one person, and noone wants to listen to us. we love our job, please do something about this situation

I purchased the living room set from ashleys the marble on the coffee table was put on crooked the marble was sent to us crooked. 2 years later purchased a matress from them. We never recieved our matress the matress was 6 days late so i called they said, Oh, sorry that matresss was discontinued. They said they would call us back never did. Gave us the run around made me upset. This was a 3 grand matress. Then I went to the store myself had to.Only for them to tell me they dont know. Then we said we need to speak to a manager they gave us a matress salesmen pretending it was a manager.Finally, they got the manager and after five days.... he gave us the floor matress for 15 percent off . That was nice but it was like pulling teeth..... then i wanted to get the pait color from them and they couldnt tell me the colors....

Ashley Furniture Tigers Promo ! Scam ??????

We went to Ashleys in Southaven MS on Sunday Feb 3rd to get a chance of free mattress win the Memphis Tigers win the National Championship. Well oL Les their sales rep said I credit was denied. We knew better and told him to do it again he did it was the wrong SS number. Needless to say the finance company denied it thinking someone was trying a scam. Well Monday morning after the promo was over and the customer rush was gone Ol' Les called and said we were approved with flying color. If you were denied By Ashley on Feb 3 and then approved Feb 4th let us know.

I know first hand...I've made the furniture and we were told to cut corners everyday to cut cost...

The owners don't care about anything or anyone except themselves and their pocketbook !!

Ashley Furniture- Horrible Customer service!

Due to their own managment turnover, we are now stuck with a King Simmons (Made for Ashley)mattress that leaves us with back pain every morning. The Sales Manager admitted we had a fauolty pillow top that left body impressions over 3" deep, he said try this plush top- if you don't like it come see me and I'll replace it. Well needless to say, he is gone and the sales director says tough luck "we're not doing anything for you, you'll just have to keep it" What a Joke, whatever happened to the customer is always right?.... We'll never buy there again and we're making sure all our friends, relatives, co-workers and aquaintences know as well.

Bought warrenty service plan...fixed 2 times...still broke | Ashley Furniture review from Reston, Virginia

We bought LANE reclining sofa and matching loveseat @ Ashley Store w/ the 5 yr. extended warrenty. Came ripped on back of sofa...took them 1 yr. to come fix it only after reclining mech. failed....then 6 mo. later had to fix again. After 3 mo. of numerous phone calls they have agreed to give us STORE credit for new matching set. Only thing is...I can't find nor do I want another set from Ashley....now what do I do? I have a 1 1/2 yr. old set that is lopsided and looks like ***...out $2,500

Extremely poor quality of Ashley Furniture

In October of '06 we bought all new furniture from Ashley to include a bedroom suite, two queen sized beds, a couch, a chair, coffee table and two end tables, TV stand, entertainment cabinet, dining table and china cabinet. During only a month of use the cushions on the sofa started to rip, the chair was literally only hold together with staples and the sides began to become loose and start falling off after 2 months. Staples are coming through the top of the headboard. The finish on all pieces has proven to come off at the slightest bump. The door to our china cabinet broke after 1 week from not having the hinges properly installed. Our dresser was delivered missing the majority of it's finish on the drawers which we had to send back. The legs on the dining table became extremely wobbly after 3 months of use. Customer services has proven to be a major headache and no repairs have ever been made despite the promise our salesman and our alleged warranties gave us. Although I am please with the matteress but that's because it's a Sealy. Ashley furniture is not worth the $$$

Store repaired table leaf instead of replacing it. | Ashley Furniture review from Trumansburg, New York

We bought an Ashley dining table, 6 chairs and a protective table pad. The table leaf looked as if it had been dropped on its end corner causing a raised corner. It also had the finished scraped on the end. The pad had glue oozing out between the layers and lots of air bubbles between the layers. The clasp which holds the pieces of pad together wouldn't stay secure. The store picked up the defective pieces and said they'd see what could be done. They repaired the corner of the leaf, but you could still see where it had been dropped. The finish on the edge was still scraped. The pad had been cleaned of excess glue and they bent the clasp so it would stay in place. The air had been pressed out of the sections. Granted, the dropped leaf is minor, but when you pay good money for supposedly new furniture, you expect good quality. I guess I'm better off then someother complaints, but still, I'm not happy. I'll never buy or recommend anyone to Ashley Furniture.

I purchased a leather recliner that the tanning started to come off the back in just 2 months and Ashley took 4 months to replace back panel. Now I have had the chair 8 months and the tanning is coming of the arms and the leather on 1 arm is starting to disintegrate. This chair from Ashely furniture is the biggest piece of *** that i have ever purchased and I will never purchese from Ashely furniture again. so Buyers be Ware also if you are going to buy Ashley Furniture buy it from K-Mart they will at least exchange it. Ashley warranty sucks to.
