Ashley Furniture Durablend Products SUCK

Don't purchase anything from Ashley Furniture that is Durablend. This material peels shortly after your warranty goes out. Once that happens, you are on your own with NO help from Ashley Furniture. I tried to contact customer service but they simply send you an automatic response of contact your local dealer. They don't stand behind the product they manufacture and sale. I suggest that you run as far away from an Ashley product as possible unless you have money to burn and time to waste when the item fails.

So your saying that even though your warranty is expired they should still just give you brand new stuff? What is the point of a warranty if you expect them to give you brand new stuff or fix your product even though your warrant is up

Purchased mattress set, spent $2K. Sales experience was fine BUT THE DELIVERY EXPERIENCE WAS AND STILL IS TOTAL ***! FIRST GOT A CALL THE DAY IT WAS TO BE DELIVERED AND WAS TOLD THE BED FOUNDATION WAS ON BACK ORDER AND DO YOU WANT US TO DELIVER PARTIAL ORDER TODAY? YES BRING PARTIAL, WAITED UNTIL DELIVERY TIME FRAME WAS PAST AND CALLED. WAITED ON HOLD FOREVER AND HUNG UP. CALLED SALESMAN AND HE STARTED CALLJNG THE WAREHOUSE. I CALLED DELIVERY AGAIN AND RECEIPTIONIST SAYS I HAD TO WAIT ON HOLD LONGER THAN 10 MINUTES!!!! SERIOUSLY! I CALLED BACK AND AFTER WAITING FINALLY GOT SOMEONE. SORRY MAAM WILL GET IT TO YOU TOMORROW. UH NO, YOU NEED TO BRING IT SATURDAY AND THEN BRING FOUNDATION THE NEXT SATURDAY. OKAY SHE SAYS. SOMEONE WILL CALL YOU TOMORROW AND LET YOU KNOW WHEN THEYLL BE THERE. NO ONE CALLED! SHOCKING! I CALLED SATURDAY MORNING AND WAS TOLD MY ORDER WAS ON BACKORDER. NO NOT RIGHT. TOLD HER THE STORY AND SHE SAYS OH YOUR MATTRESS JUST ARRIVED. WE CAN DELIVER THE ORDER IN TWO WEEKS ON A TUESDAY!!!!! Same with my sofa, love seat and recliner. No pets, no small children. Very little use actually. So disappointed with this product. Hard earned money down the drain.

I'm not going to talk about the bad quality of their furniture or the poor costumer service, but they are advertising prices, deliver you the wrong item ( after you showing the exact item to the sales person and confirm the price with him!!!)and then asking you to add twice as much money for the item you wanted! It says false advertising all over!!!! One more thing, they display item with prices, but then when you want to purchase it, suddenly you discover all kind of add - ons. It's just outrages! Of course when you calling to complain, they just don't care

Completely agree. Had a very similar situation happen this weekend.

Bait and switch. Management doesn't care about customer service, they only care about their commissions and time schedule.

Worst furniture store, worst retail store I've ever dealt with. Never again.

Couch that the leather coming off and it is junk

We purchased the couch in 2013 and we purchased the insurance which cost us $300 and it covered nothing they said it was a wear thing I told them it was just my husband and I and how can we help the junk is coming up they said it just wasn't a warranty item it was just the product coming up so never purchase the insurance cause all it is a ripoff to get you to spend more money there as far as I am concerned there furniture is JUNK and will never purchase another piece of furniture there again and either will a lot of other people who we come in contact with.

I just want to add that I had brought a bedroom set and a kitchen table a few years ago from Ashley and everything had scratches on it, they sent a repair man out to fix the scratch on the furniture. Who wants to buy brand new furniture that's all scratched up and then have to be repaired. I'm throwing my Ashley Furniture credit card in the garbage because it will be a cold day in *** before I buy another piece of furniture from them. Of course I will cut it up first. Ashley Furniture, u have the worst funiture ever, I can't understand why your still in business with all the bad reviews. I will find a better furniture store to shop at, Ashley Furniture doe a favor and close my account.

I recently brought a couch from Ashley Furniture. The couch had a tear on the back of it, which i called them and they told me to bring the couch back. They tried to fix the problem but made it worser than what it was. I even purchased the protection plan. I will never buy a piece of furniture from there again, its over priced and not worth the money. Ashley Furniture suck, they are the worse furniture company in the world. I should of went to Harlem Furniture.

I have called Ashely furniture over 8 times and each time I was placed on hold for 15-30 minutes. Today was the worst. I was on hold for 53 minutes waiting to speak with a manager. This company has to have the worst customer service satisfaction ever. I will nver purchase anything from them. I just wish I had looked at the reviews before I purchased and paid cash. Also the sofa I purchased was made out of *** material. The arm that broke after 2 months was apparently made out of compressed particle board wood. See the crack in the arm in the photo below.

Once you spend 3 hours picking out furniture, beware, it takes over 2 weeks to finally get it. Our tiny couch wouldn't fit in our house so after 3 more weeks of fighting with Ashley we finally paid someone $200 to remove our window and put the couch in. The rug was supposed to be delivered Nov 1st, finally on Nov 9th I called and it was going to be Nov 22nd now. What a JOKE!!!!! I will never recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone I know! The Salespeople are pushy and need a sale so bad they will promise anything but can't deliver. Don't waste your time on Ashley

Yeah it's complete non-sense that they don't keep everything in stock. They only have like 50-60 sets of furniture that each has about 4 pieces to it.

It's not like sofas are big or anything, only about 7 feet long.

Every store should have a 500,000 sq foot warehouse in the back and keep every single item they sell in stock and they should have a delivery crew sitting in the back waiting for me to buy so they can immediately bring it to my house within an hour. O and the delivery should be free!!

Stay Away! Ashley Furniture is TOXIC!!! They have a very strong and irritant smell which has lasted for almost a year, even though I have tried my best to remove the toxic odor and keep opening my windows most of the time to ensure air ventilation. My husband coughed for more than a month when we first received the furniture, and my nose is very allergic to their odor. I put a formaldehyde testing kit in one of the drawer of their furniture, and the result indicats that the formaldehyde concentration is FIVE times higher than the legitimate level!!! I tried to warn other people about this and keep them away from Ashley’s toxic furniture, but I found that my some of my online reviews were erased (I won’t cease fighting!) and Ashley never takes it seriously!!! I also reported to the Better Business Bureau twice, when I first successfully contacted the customer representative of Ashley and asked if they have any certified documents proving those furnitures meet the requirements of the Toxic Substances Control Act of TSCA, they replied no. After that they just keep ignoring me!!! I wish I had saw your review before I bought from them. I had this same issue,and when I called them about it, they said "We do not use any chemicals", I told them they were full of *** and I was not gonna waste my time fighting with them over it, I could smell it.

They than told me "You bought it, it is yours now" My reply was very rude and not something I can post here.

They are the worse company I have ever dealt with!

I went in for furniture at Ashley furniture/ Stonecrest Mall location in GA. I applied and needed a co-signer in which I used my boyfriend.

Only to find out later that they switched him from co- signer to applicant. I am outraged!!! The furniture was a piece of *** literally!!! All cheap wood snd materials.

Definitely not worth the money. From the time we picked the furniture up it was BAD! WE WERE TOLD THAT WE HAD TO PICK IT UP. The staff for acceptance now was told after one payment to pick it up.

They refused and threatened me on multiple occasions. They would only address me and my boyfriend by our first name. I want to speak to a LIVE REP FROM THIS COMPANY ASAP.

I HAVE SO MUCH TO SAY. Bottom line is DON'T EVER EVER GET CREDIT FROM ACCEPTANCE NOW!!!!!

After Two months of complaining to Ashley's of Bel Air about our damaged dining set of chairs we cannot get a response from them. We even bought the 5 year extended warranty. We kept calling the store talking with our sales person, then visited the store and complained to the woman supervisor (who was the rudest person we ever dealt with) failed to follow up and get our damaged chairs repaired or replaced. Finally, we called the store again two weeks ago and left a message or the store manager to call us and get our issues resolve, sorry to say we are still waiting for a response.

Highly disappointed with the customer service...had my leather couch/recliner delivered on sept 17th ....motor wire to couch was freyed needed to replace motor..it is now October 28th and i am still waiting to enjoy my purchase...asked if they can replace the whole thing with a different recliner all together...the respose i recieved was "no service repair man will come and replace motor " I was not asking for money off the $5000 purchase. I wanted the couch that was delivered damaged replaced.....soo disappointed with ashley furniture...i would not recommend that store to anyone....

Ashley furniture is a joke. I have owned this sofa for two years and it's peeling! I also bought the extended warranty and guess what they won't cover it! I talked to everyone, the warranty company, Ashley manufacturer, and the location I bought the sofa. I just spoke to Ashley's corporate office and Conetta Miller said "I don't care about your sofa or what they told you was covered when you bought it. There is nothing we are going to do about it." When I asked to speak to her supervisor she told me she was the top . Another lie! Ashley told me my sofa would be covered for five years and here it is two and they won't cover a thing. I will NEVER buy anything from these crooks agin!
