I purchased furniture on a Saturday around 5 p.m.The sales associate mentioned to me about returning furniture and a restocking fee.
I did not realize I only had 24 hrs. to return furniture to avoid a restocking fee - the amount of the fee was never discussed or mentioned. The paper work I was given was only an itemized bill and did not have a return policy on it (their printer was down) and their website makes no mention of the return police or restocking fee. I called on Monday afternoon to return furniture that was only scheduled for delivery that Saturday of the same week - it was not furniture I had already received.
I called on the Monday afternoon after purchasing on a SATURDAY AFTERNOON and was charged a $500 restocking fee for furniture that most likely had not even been pulled for delivery.
What a rip off!!!!I will never deal with Ashley furniture again, and I will tell everyone I know about this experience and will not recommend them.
Monetary Loss: $500.
