I was told my purchase would be delivered in 1 to 2 weeks then 3 weeks go by and they still haven't contacted me. So many called and they told me oh it's 3 to 4 weeks. Well It's well over 4 weeks and they called and left a voice mail saying they would be here on Tuesday which is today and it's freaking 7:01 pm !! I wasted a whole day waiting for these ***. My husband and I purchased a dining room table and a Sealy king mattress set at this store in anticipation of a new home purchase. We put down a $750 deposit and then I paid the remaining $2843.68 just on April 6th. Later that VERY SAME DAY, the other party quite unexpectedly defaulted on our home sale, leaving us with no home to move into. My husband called and spoke with the general manager Tom, but Tom had zero compassion for our situation and refused to refund our money. He explained that he had administrative costs, and was also required to keep the 20% because "Ashley makes all its own furniture". That seems like a pretty flimsy excuse considering the majority of our purchase was the Sealy Optimum Radiance King Set. Considering we have already been devastated by the loss of our new home, his response seemed tantamount to kicking us when we were already down. I don't even remember that policy being explained to us at the time of purchase and I doubt I would have gone through with it had I known. Is this REALLY the sort of customer service they wish to be known for? How do they ever get repeat business? We paid Ashley Furniture a total of $3593.68 and are only being refunded $2874.94. We were forced to cancel this order through NO FAULT OF OUR OWN and it is not being right for Ashley Furniture to penalize us for that.

I recently financed a sectional from them in ftsmith arkansas.the lady is rude,and nosey! We went to Illinois for my husbands work put it in storage and called and told them and they said they would work with us.I came back for my storage key and they said they knew i was back and would not work with me! I dont see the problem if i am paying the payment and letting them know!! Very unprofessional!

Poor Quality / Durability | Ashley Furniture review from Carrollton, Texas

My Leather Recliner made it only three and a half years before the leather started peeling and splitting in lightly used, no kids environment. Buyer beware, cheap quality, no durability. Shop elsewhere or plan to replace every three to four years. As I told them when I purchased, I won't buy a warranty, if it has problems I'll never be back. I had already heard from others who had warranty work issues that Ashley's would give them a hard time in getting the warranty work performed. Consider it a throw away purchase. This was purchased from the Grapevine, Texas store but I'm sure the quality is terrible at all.

Worst customer service and quality. Pieces that they delivered were different color, very bad quality ( bed frame is so unstable that I cannot use it at all ) and when I wanted to exchange or return they told me they do not take returns. After I spent at least $50000 in last 3 years at Ashley! Store manager was extremely rude and impolite. He actually hang up on me! Calling corporate office did not help! Apparently, each store is independently owned and they have their rules. For love of God do not buy in this store unless you do not mind loosing money. I agree to that other person who says : "STAY CLEAR AWAY FROM THESES CROOKS!? "

They have really bad customer service. I spend over $10,000 dolores in there store and there service for giving a payment in store is bad when it can only take 10 minutes instead it takes them 45 minutes. I was told i would get a T.V after 7 days of delivering my furniture its been 15 days and they don't know nothing about my T.V? You would think after spending all that money they would take care of you. Yeah very bad service.I dont recommend them at all.
