I purchased my mattress on 2/2018 my back and arms hurt instantly but my husband had no complaints. On 7/2018 he started complaining same body aches we called Ashley to report our situation they sent inspector out today I called to follow up they said it’s sunk in 1 inch only we have to wait for a half of inch to sink in REALLY!!!!!

BUYERS BEWARE. AFHS 18060 Euclid Street Fountain Valley CA 92708. THIS COMPANY/LOCATION DESERVES A -10 and to NOT BE IN BUSINESS.

As a retail leader and professional the business being ran here is unacceptable and has complete disregard for customers. With 10+ years in retail myself, I have never complained to corporate or the BBB but both will happen as well as a FRAUD dispute with my bank. The sales manager Jose Gonzalez should not be in position nor should the scams be tolerated by the corporate company.

I made a purchase on 6/24 product was delivered on 6/27. Unfortunately I was not home during delivery and my husband received our order. When I got home we realized the furniture did not fit our space. The next morning I called the location 6 times with no answer. Their closed voicemail was still on even though the location had been open for an hour. I drove to location and asked to speak with manager regarding my purchase/return/exchange. He informed me their store policy was “after delivery all sales are final”.

As i mentioned to him, that policy is not posted anywhere, was never disclosed to me. However what this Scam artist is doing is having his sales people write on your invoice the “policy” stated above. However on my invoice my husband nor myself ever signed the customer order acceptance nor is a commissioned sales persons typed note a viable Return Policy.

Once speaking with him Jose said he would make an exception but it had to be approved by his Regional manager and he would give me a call once approved. After 24 hrs I called again with no answer, drove back to the location, and had a heated conversation with Jose AGAIN. After our exchange he informed me his regional would be in today. He wrote up an exchange invoice and said he would call me by 5pm today with further information. Shockingly I got no phone call today. Jose would not release his direct reports info and the corporate office is conveniently closed.

The kicker is I was not even doing a return, I was wanting to exchange for another set. Any business/manager who is unwilling to help a customer is not worth your time and money. Jose and Ashley furniture home store will give you the run around and not protect the customers best interest.

Unfortunately I am out $1407 with furniture that psychically does NOT fit in my home. From here I will be handling the dispute through my bank.

My furniture started cracking and peeling right after our 5 year warranty was up. I was told it was genuine leather and would last for years and years. I called Pacific lifestyle furniture in Beaverton Oregon where I bought it and was told by the store manager that I bought "medium grade leather" and "in the business "lifetime warranty" means about 7 years." Well thanks. He offered to give me a little discount on my next set from them. No thanks. I will never buy from Pacific Lifestyle Furniture, who is knowingly selling furniture when they know the furniture will only last "7 years" or Ashley Furniture who is selling crap furniture!

My husband and I bought a sectional from Ashley and within a month the seams were ripping and the back was warping. We consistently called About this issue and all Ashley would do is either send a technician or replace a cushion. Same results from the “fixed” items. Tearing and warping. After constantly having to wait for a technician to come, we decided that since we have warrenty, why not ask for a replacement or refund. NOTHING. Ashley furniture drag us around until our warrenty was over. Unanswered emails and calls for about 4 months until one day they decide to respond and tell us they can’t help us. To add to this, everyone we talked to in this ordeal was rude. Terrible company.

Trying to return a rocker/recliner

Ashley has not called me, but the local furniture company that delivered the recliner called to set up a time to pick up the chair. Thats great. Ashley may reevaluate their customer service, but it does appear they are doing the right thing.

Not happy with my new rocker/recliner for Ashley. I am trying to return and they are not making it easy. For returns, the instruction were to locate a phone number in the fine print on shipping e-mail. I located the number and call. On hold for an excessive amount of time. After explaining why I wanted to return, She said she ask me to hold and she would forward me to the right department. She then said no one was there, but she would send them an e-mail asking them to call me. They have yet to call. She did say that I would not be refunded for shipping, and may have to pay for return handling and shipping. Its possible I may have to donate this chair to Salvation Army.

Nothing but lies

We bought a pair of accent chairs back in July of 2018, one was supposed to come with a pillow (a simple item you would think). We did not like the one chair so went back in August and ordered another to match the other one.

They told us it was supposed to come with an accent pillow which we informed them we had not received. They said they ordered it for us. This is now October and every time I talk to the store or their famous customer service people I get nothing but lies about when this will be delivered. They say it is shipping UPS but do not have any tracking information.

How can this be? Everyone else has tracking information on shipments.

They said this would be delivered by 10/01..........still waiting..........contacted both places once again and no return phone calls or updates as promised. Ashley Homestore sucks and will never do business with them again and will tell all my friends and family to stay away also.

Messed with my credit. Delivery missing pieces.

Left unbuilt furniture all over my living room for a month. When delivery came a month later there was no delivery window. Claimed a glitch with system. Furniture came damaged.

Said they couldn’t get another piece for another month and that I should settle on furniture repair for new furniture. Still left everything unbuilt. Next delivery I was assured they would build and everything was on truck. Delivery never came and was cancelled.

Customer service had me going around in circles and didn’t seem to care. Just kept offering small incentives to fix mistakes and then would give me a hard time or bargain down what was promised. They are now taking back the furniture because it has yet to be fully delivered and I’m done with dealing with these people. Awful service all around!

Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. FYI City furniture is the same company.

Worst Delivery People Ever!!!

Furniture is okay, but the delivery teams were absolutely the worst that I have ever encountered. The men that made the two deliveries that brought my furniture were rude, inconsiderate and rather ignorant of how to set up my furniture. They traipsed through my home without even wiping their shoes on my doormat. I had to vacuum after each of the delivery teams left. One of the men on the first team said he had no idea how to put together the table that I purchased and said he would have to sit down and read the instructions first. They then saw that one of the pieces of the table was badly warped and said that a replacement would be delivered by a different team. The second delivery team managed to put the table together. However, when they were about to leave, I noticed that they left many large staples embedded underneath the tabletop that were used to hold a fabric covering for shipping. They actually asked if I wanted them removed! When I said that I did, they then wanted me to supply them with the tools to remove them! I sent a certified letter to Ashley more than a month ago, detailing these and other faults of their delivery teams and requested that Ashley respond to me. I also sent a copy of that letter to their Customer Service Department who acknowledged that they received it. Nobody from Ashley has responded. I received emails from Ashley asking me for reviews of my purchases. I submitted reviews that noted the horrible delivery people. They responded that such comments were not going to be accepted by them! Obviously, they only want positive comments. What a joke they are! If you decide to purchase furniture from Ashley, I strongly suggest you pick it up yourself or hire your own delivery people. Their delivery teams are horrible.Sad

I bought two chairs from Ashley and went home and decided they were too cheap looking. Called the next day to cancel the order - and they tell me that it is already on the van and its too late to cancel the order and that I have to call to cancel within 48 hours of delivery...But they are delivering it within 30 hours of purchase.

So you might say that delivery within 30 hours of purchase is great and what are you complaining about?? They do this so that you can not cancel your order. Kind of a scam. you can't cancel within 48 of delivery and they make sure its delivered within 30 hours of the purchase.

Turn around and leave that store!

RUN!!!!

Ordered a sectional 10 days ago for the great price of $1250. Was set to be delivered today and it was with them calling first and showing up on time. Except it was the wrong one. The elft arm piece should have been where the right arm piece etc et etcNow they're telling me have to re order and its going to take 18 days between the ordering and my work schedule. Went into the store..told me I couldn't cancel...no credit issued no nothing. I should be able to cancel as its not on route yet and they screwed up. 18 days may not seem long...but it is when you don't have furniture to sit on. I would advise other people to not shop here, but as this is a complaint site you probably already know.

King bed - missing peices at delivery

Hello, I had my bed delivered on Oct 1st. Missing the one side. It has been more than a week, I’ve called the store I purchased it from about 5-6x and they continue to email the warehouse. I am extremely upset. I haven’t had a place to lay my head that was mine In the last 7 months. I am shocked that you couldn’t deliver or be able to follow up via customer service for the last week. I travel so much, all I want is my bed and I have peices against my bedroom wall, and all over. Please make this right. Katie

Horrible!!!

Bought a sectional for almost $2600 with warranty and delivery. This was July 28th 2018. We were told it was back ordered, would be delivered September 10th. On the invoice the sales rep put delivery asap. I was reluctant but decided to go ahead with the purchase an wait almost a month and half. September 9th comes around and they call to tell us only 3 of the 6 peices would be delivered the other 3 wouldnt arrive till October 4th. I was very upset. So we decided to cancel our order all together an go to a company who would deliver their product in a timely manner. They told us couldn't get a refund it's been over 48hrs. Eventually after arguing back an forth they agreed to give a refund. It's now September 15th, They called this morning to set up a delivery date. So again had to call the company,still have not got the refund they agreed to give.... An we can't go an get another because of this. Run from this company! They are crooks!!! Horrible customer service!!!! Never had a prob like this with any other company! First time buyer..... Will NEVER retur!!!!!
