I purchased beautiful leather sofas about a year and a half ago. I realize they where cracking and peeling.

I called the company and they said that they don't fix cracked or peeling that is not cover by warranty. My Ashley one year warranty expire so they gave me a number to call that deal with extended warranty. To my surprise they cover everything but peeling or cracking leather sofas. They gave me a number to a company that deal with the sofas condition, but I would have to pay out of pocket.

Why do I have to pay out of pocket if I paid good money for quality plus the warranty. I am very upset because now I have to pay to fix my sofas and I live on a fix income.

I had the same thing happen, got replaced as was in warranty and 2 yrs later happened again. I could see if it was abused, but hardly say on it :x

Im going thru the same tging now.our warranty covers everything but peeling cracking,such BS!!!i have no kids and no pets,furnature store sold a bottke of 50 dollar conditioner which i used every month or so and still got peeling.noone is willing to even hear us out.the bad thing is that i seen a special on tv where they said furnature had the 2nd worst markup of any sold priduct in the US.so someone is getting rich off a product they wont warrenty!!!

They are not leather that you've bought they were "CHEAPY PIGSKIN" THAT'S WHY.

We bought a leather sofa and loveseat three years ago, along with Ashley's 5 year extended warranty. When it was delivered, the leather on the sofa cushions did not seem to be as high quality as the rest of the leather, but we didn't worry because we had a warranty and we had cleaning people who conditioned our sofa every month.

When the cushions developed cracking and peeling, we called Ashley furniture with confidence that they would take care of us.

Ashley one-sidedly decided we had not properly maintained their leather, despite our documentation to the contrary, and refused to take care of the problem. We are terribly disappointed with Ashley's product and their customer service.

It happened to us also, we have no children or pets and take care of our furniture. Ashley would not cover any repairs.
