This post is to let everyone know what a terrible experience we had at ASHLEY FURNITURE in Phillipsburg . Their customer service was TERRIBLE, store manager was very RUDE, NOT HELPFUL, a LIAR and INCONSIDERATE! We had a delivery scheduled for yesterday for 3 items (a couch, love seat and recliner) that was bought December 15th. This Monday, January 11th we were told only 2 (couch and love seat) would be available for delivery. The reason why we chose this date originally was our salesman confirmed in the computer that this was the earliest date we could receive all items at once. After calling the store about the issue no one could give us any information. After more prying they were able to tell us it was on back order and it would be a week until we received it. We agreed to accept the first delivery and wait for the recliner at a later date.

Our time slot was 1-5, and I took off from work for it. At 5:30 we still did not receive our delivery NOR a call about the status. So we called the store once again and were met with attitude and disrespect from the manager. After being on hold for 10 minutes she stated she would have to call us back with more info. When we received a call back we were notified that the truck broke down, but our items would still be delivered. The customer service stated we would get a courtesy call when they are 15-20 mins away. Needless to say at 10:00 last night we still did not get our furniture OR a call. Although we were very dissatisfied and frustrated we gave them the benefit of the doubt.

This morning 1/13/2016 we expected to receive a call about our failed delivery. At 2:00pm I still have not heard from Ashley Furniture. I finally called at 2:00 pm to find out about the status of the delivery. The manager lied multiple times to us about the status and the fact that she could not track our order. We called the warehouse and they said the next available delivery date was 1/30/2016, even though the manager lied and said they could deliver it this weekend 1/16/2016. We are COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY DISGUSTED with ASHLEY FURNITURE. I highly recommend to everyone to spend your hard earned money elsewhere!!!
