I've been dealing with this issue with Ashley furniture- Newport News VA 23606 for more than 4 months now. I am very disappointed I been a good customer to them for over a decade now and even to synchrony bank and now they've ignoreing our phone calls and if they answered they also transferred to the phone numbers that just keeping ringing and ringing the whole intired time that I was on the phone.

My issue was we bought a tempurapedic mattress. They supposed to deliver it to us but the date that they supposed to deliver didn't work out for them so they called us rescheduled then the date that they want to deliver we are not available on that day and time so me and my husband decided to pick the merchandize up. And when my husband picked it up they even give us some sort of receipt or note. Now they don't want to give us the money that they collected for the delivery of merchandised.

I even talked to the manager and manager seems to not want to deal with the problem and told me that Pricilla(accounting person)will call me back. They even send document to synchrony which the receipt that they gave us for picked merchandised was missing. All I wanted is to get my money back that they charged me for delivery ($ 356.63) such a small amount for them but big amount for us. But no!

they don't want to reach out and fix it. Always not answering phone or if they answer always transfer you to the person won't answer. I felt like there is no more option for me since the manager won't help us. But if we consumers screwed up then they will get us no matter what.

Very disappointed Hope that nobody will get screwed like us in the future. With both of these companies.

I don't understand the shipping charge I am in California and we bought a lot of furniture and the shipping charge was $199.99 the maximum. If you go to their website you will find the same thing to be true $199.99 max.

They have an A+ rating according to the Better Business Bureau, meaning they respond to complaints because they don't want their score lowered. Let the Better Business Bureau help, file a claim- Ashley Furniture's headquarters is in Wisconsin so use this link:http://www.bbb.org/wisconsin/business-reviews/furniture-retail/ashley-furniture-homestore-in-arcadia-wi-100002**** Look to the right of the page and you will see the link to the complaint form. Each store is individually owed and operated so some managers are horrible, at least ours was. All they care about is selling not customer service.

I looked at the prices on-line at and they were all less than what the store was selling them for, but they did match the prices and we saved almost $2000.00 !!

Also you can look up the city in Virginia you purchased the furniture in on the BBB and file a complaint directly for that store, I would do both! Good Luck.
