my identity was stolen i had to close all my accounts and open new ones. I had all accounts on auto payment and only owed 500 which was hoing to be paid off last month due to promo well long story short i forgot in the mess and i recievef interest charges added toy account in the amount of 1200 I called as soon as I found out due to the auto payments and trying to add new account and not be charged to the old account and return fees etc they were straight up rude I cannot afford this additional expense after trying to recover from this theft for the 4th time this sucks shame on you ashleys thanks for kicking a loyal long time customer while she is down

Details
After non stop pressure from an associate who refused to listen that our budget was NOT 1500$. After being told that if i wanted a good mattress it cost at least 1000$ (tell that to the 1200$ I bought a year ago that is awful after 6 months) after being told I "Only got the special" if i got the bed and foundation" (even though it said nothing of that anywhere and it even advertised a 120$ lower price on the tag WITHOUT the foundation) and after being told "We cant waive the haul away and DISPOSAL fee" even though I told him I would dispose of it myself (for less than the fee) we agreed to purchase a mattress (it was several hundred cheaper than an identical model we had seen elsewhere). Delivery guys show up and tell me they wont take the mattress that I PAID a haul away and DISPOSAL FEE for because there is a stain on the cover (It costs about 100$ to replace from the manufacturer). So we got scammed into paying for disposal yet refused the service because a mattress was "stained". I dont see how this is a problem given its ILLEGAL to resell mattresses in California, so quality of the old mattress is irrelevant. What next? Trash man wont haul away my garbage because its got some smelly food in it?

Purchased all North Shore collection, when recieved it looked like everything was good until my wife started dusting it a few days later. One of the dining chairs back legs was broken off and horribly glued back on, the next day the arm on a dining chair broke off. I will say Ashley replaced parts but did not offer to fix. When I recieved the back piece by UPS it was broken in same place as glued one on original delivery. So now I have two broken legs that are worthless.

I bought living room set. Sofa and loveseat are durablend leather. Both are cracking and peeling. The warranty company : Guardsman" is also a rip off. I had to threaten to take them to small claims court just to get them to send the claim form. I still haven't heard anything from them as of 8/1/13 . Do not buy this product or buy from ashley furniture. Intend to file a complaint with the better business bureau. Bureau of consumer affairs.And consumer magazine. They lie to people and say that it is a good quality product. This is a blatant lie just to get your money.!

I have the exact same thing happening to the same set, I was told to bad that I didn't but the extended warranty and then was told by the salesman that it wouldn't have covered it anyway, this is only happening on the chair and only in a very small area which they could repair quite easily.

I had the Same problem with Ashley selling me a defective product, started peeling the first year, asked them about it, they didn't care Got waaaaaay worse, told them , Asleys didn't care, NOW 2 years later it is just No more durablend to peel, and I spent alot of That Money there. I didnt edxpect these people to Lie to me, thenCover up their Faulty product. It hurts to see a New sales rep get caught up into these Lies, I seen the new kids two years later and he is a Professional lier now. Sad, Just so sad. I have been waiting for my beautiful furniture to arrive for a long time, and was planning to show it off at my daughters huge graduation party tomorrow. When the delivery man showed up today, I was so excited to see my room finally done. Instead my husband came inside telling me the driver had just pulled away.I asked what had happened and it comes to find out, he didn't like the fact that we had a temperapedic bed and the wheels just needed to be unscrewed on the bottom. So instead of waiting for them to be unscrewed he took off with my new furniture(already paid for delivery and set-up) and told my husband he'd have to contact the store we got it from. So of course being confused as to why this man,(who was by the way by himself,with no help) just took off with our paid for stuff,we called the store in Santa Clarita,Ca and spoke to manager SERGIO CHAVEZ,who had no concern at all and told us there was nothing he could do about it. You could imagine my frustration. All they said was they will see if they can make it tomorrow. The customer service honestly had me confused and blown away how they just didn't care. I RECOMMEND NOT GOING TO ASHLEY'S FURNITURE.

Wow! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE dealings...and not done!

Poorly manufactured furniture - tried to return it..."manager" misrepresented new deal...then got fired...new manager didn't know anything about it...and the beat goes on. I can't get a refund because of a contract. Every time I speak with someone there, they are a "manager"...lies, poor quality/workmanship...they have NO CLUE what customer service is....I'm a widow on limited income...they got this sale, but they won't get another...or from anyone I know....

may not hurt them, but sure as the devil and back don't want to help them!

ASHLEY FURNITURE IS TERRIBLE

I ordered a TV stand. Ashley gave me the run around about what day to expect delivery. First they promised it on a Monday, then they changed the day. They didn't give me any notice. I sat and waited on Monday, then called them in the evening to find out they had rescheduled my delivery. When the TV stand arrived, the leg was cracked and patched. There was fresh stain on the leg that wasn't even dry yet. The delivery men tried to rush me when I was inspecting the unit. I can't believe they would try to pass off damaged furniture to me like that. I rejected the TV stand and did get a refund credited to my Visa.

I have the same problem with my bedroom set furniture. Most of my dressers handles are broken. I went to the local store in my area and I brought some picture of my furnitures with me. They pretended to help me because there are other customer in the store. They took my info and they said they would email me how to get the parts. I ask them what's the handles made out of because why they pulling apart. They said metal... And they said that after 5 years it should break like anything else. So I told them. I said I have other furnitures that are way older than 5 years and still in great shape. I said I feel like they are made out of clay. He just smiled and said ill email you the info when we find the parts. I did hear from them but I called and emailed them and they just give me an 800 # to call. I did but i was on hold for a long time and no one answered. We should all get together and sue them or we can make flyers and put in every car infront of their store. This is ridiculous. Ashley furniture is a piece of Sh_t!!! They need to go out of business if they can't help us get the parts. I'm pissed!!!
