ASHLEY HOME FURNISHING SUCKS!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!We purchased a 5 piece sectional sofa from Ashley Home Furnishings in Tacoma.
They were delivered on Saturday, 28 November 2020 and immediately after delivery, we noticed that one end piece (rt arm recliner) did not match the rest. The seams were off both along the seat and along the foot rest.
We immediately contacted the store, and they said that they had more of the same items in the warehouse and would swap them out. However, they never called to confirm. After speaking with Consumer Affairs for Ashley Home furnishings, we once again went to the store to find out what was going to be done.
The first "complaint" or "work order" stating they would swap them out was closed once I made this contact. They requested photos, which I sent, and they opened a new "work order". We went to the store once again and were told that they have to send a technician out to see if it can be fixed and if not, they would swap it out. They also said there are only 5 technicians for the entire Pacific Northwest.
(What we really want is to return the merchandise and get our money back. If not, a complete replacement with a set that matches.)
Checking on-line, numerous complaints have been made stating that they won't ever answer the phone and will never send this technician. (this is after I made 5 attempts to call and never got an answer - Monday 30 Nov).
Is this something that you would consider getting involved in?
We would greatly appreciate some help. We have contacted our credit card company and contested the charge.
