EVERYTIME I called Ashley's phone number/customer service I was put on hold for 30 to 40 minutes before anyone answers........I even have a claim on file for the damages to my home which I have not heard anything back form Ashley yet........and the claim was file after the first delivery attempt........I was told I would hear from them within 72 hours.....still today Jan. 13, 2020....nothing....

I recently purchased a California King Size Bed and 2 Night Stands from Ashley in San Francisco....... November 2, 2019.

Once purchased I was assured by Andrew the sales person from Ashley that my delivery would be taken care of before January 1, 2020 The first delivery attempt was made December 29, 2020....in the rain......as I asked the delivery driver if he wanted to come back when the weather was better. He just started taking boxes off furniture off the truck.I then noticed that the delivery team was not from Ashley......and didn't understand English. For example...I explained that I just had $10,000 worth of Flooring, Paint, Crown molding, and Baseboards completed and need them to be very careful when bringing the product into my home. Upon bring the huge boxes up my stairs they damaged/scraped paint off the stairway ceiling...(freshly painted)

Then damaged/scraped my Master Bedroom door....(freshly painted).......Once in the bedroom....wham...first part of the bed slams right into my freshly painted baseboards......I asked them to not try to bring the huge boxes into the house since it was such a hard task for the 2 guys......

One of them being a rather small gentlemen, that had a hard time lifting his end of the boxes.

After one of the gentlemen had the bed about 80% assembled I noticed a broken drawer, which one I was told can be pushed back together...the wood was splintered. I also notice some damage to one of the rails as well as the foot board rails. When I went to get my cell phone in order to take pictures of the damage...one of the gentlemen used a sharpie marker to color in the damage and told me it was a touch up......really????

I then asked him to take the bed apart and take it back I am not accepted the damaged bed....I also asked him to take the night stands back too.

I called Ashley and requested new furniture be delivered asap.....due to the fact that it was costing me $254.00 a month to have a storage unit in which I had other furniture in that went back in the room once the bed was delivered and installed. I was told by several members of Ashley staff from customer service, the sales reps at the San Francisco store, the Manager, his supervisor on duty....and about 4 others reps, who's names I have that were very rude in attempting to provide some kind of solution to my problem.


I went through several days of absolutely the worst customer service a person could ever imagine.......

Then finally a second attempt at delivering the bed.....after I requested Ashley Delivery Workers to deliver the bed....another team of gentlemen that didn't work for Ashley and again didn't really understand English......Guess what...?

They brought back the same broken bed I just refused 2 weeks prior.......I was livid....

Went through the same scenario again with Customer Service and they again promised to deliver a Brand New Bed on the 3rd try.........

Guess what..........?????

They tried to deliver the same broken bed to me a 3rd time.....Unbelievable !! In a box that was taped up and had a red broken marker on it......the product was not even in the correct packing....

Lastly Ashley then calls me after the Manager of the San Francisco Store told me I could come in and get a refund of $1600.46.....takes my debit card information and tells me it takes 5 business days to refund me my money.......after it took 5 minutes for me to pay for it on November 2, 2019.


Meantime I'm still sleeping on a air mattress with a bad back.....my $4000.00 Tempur-pedic mattress is sitting on the floor in my closet....and I had to pay for another month of storage fees......

You must be kidding.......!

This is long and just a snap shop of what happen when dealing with Ashley Furniture......

Reason of review: Problem with delivery.

Preferred solution: refund my $1600.46 asap........and pay for the extra storage fees of $254.00 plus the $250.00 that Juan the San Francisco store manager promised me..
