Long story short. Bought couch and recliner from local store.
Threw out a beautiful couch because my husband needed the automatic push button recline feature (he is disabled with a serious back injury). Loved the product until about a year and a half later. Wrote Ashley and was told no go because it was over a year old. Who replaces a sofa every year?
Called local store and did the phone tag thing. After months sent picture several times. They say they never got them. Funny I send pictures all over the world with no problem.
Finally just give up on the local store. I now have to cover my entire sofa with a blanket. It looks camaflouge but nasty. I have to sweep everyday because more is falling off.
I make sure when someone visits, I let them know this is an Ashley product and what they won't do. They sold the Ashley sofa and recliner not the local store. THEY should replace it for free. I see my same pictures on facebook very often.
I'm sure that is Good for Ashley business. This is so sad because I know people who swear buy the Ashley name. Won't for long. I have now decided to share my problem every day with some one I know.
Keep them from making the same mistake. Just Sayin!
