Very upset they talk you into a warranty that don’t cover the problem I am having. Furniture worn out over a year and now it’s collapsing. The sofa can no longer be used. Very upsetting I wasted my money thinking I was buying a more upgraded furniture. Now can’t get someone to fix it. They gave me two numbers to call to fix the problem and these people no longer service them. I waste of my money and time.

Seams slitting on expensive sleeper sofa, 1.5 years after review | Ashley Furniture review from District 3 Bel Air, Maryland

We spent 1,100 plus $100 for the extended warranty on a sleeper sofa from Ashely. The seams on the couch are now splitting. Of course it is over 1 year from purchase so the manufacturer warranty is no good, and the "platinum warranty" we purchased does not cover seams (covers almost nothing). What a waste of money and I am very unhappy with the quality of Ashley furniture. Tracie

We had a flood in our home, so we had to replace our living room set....We went to Ashley Furniture Store in Glen Burnie,md. 21061....We purchased a living room set....We were told our living room set would be in on the 13th....I called in on the 12th to see if it was still coming in on the 13th or perhaps it is already in....The girl said it will be in on the 13th....So I called today which is the 14th of November and was told it wouldn't be in until December 9th....So I told the girl well can I get my money back because I need a set before the holidays....She said yes but you will be charged 10% for getting your money back....I said why will I be charged she said because it says in the contract 2 to 8 weeks....I said to her but this is your fault, for telling us it would be in on that date...I said the sales person promised us that it would be in....I don't think it is fair that we have to pay 10% after being lied to not once but twice....All the manager would say is your contract says 2 to 8 weeks....

My daughter and her fiancé were expecting An Ashley delivery on 10-28-2017 between 1:15 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.

A lot of the family spent the day with them putting up pictures and placing furniture while waiting on the Ashley HomeStore furniture delivery. My daughter explained thru the day that Ashley HomeStore furniture would call about an hour ahead of actual delivery and that call did not come. The fiancé made several calls to inquire about the delivery and was given several different explanations that contradicted them selves. It was obvious lies were being told or simply made up and each call was a new Ashley Furniture employee blaming either the local store, dispatch or delivery crew.

Absolutely no one accepted responsibility or compassion for the late delivery. The fiancé then explained to the 3 generations of both sides of the family that this was the second scheduled delivery. Well, members of the family started researching the internet for Ashley Home Store furniture reviews and immediately became alarmed at the negative reviews and previously disappointed Ashley HomeStore customers. The complaints were as follows: peeling furniture materials, Chinese made products, NO RETURN POLICY, 10 percent penalty for cancelled deliveries and LATE DELIVERIES.

My daughter and her fiances (approx. $3,000.00 cash order) furniture ultimately was a week and 4 hours late. The entertainment center that was part of the delivery did not have its shelves and the crew said it would have to be delivered some other time. Three generations of family, friends and co-workers will not use Ashley Furniture in the future and will discuss this matter frequently with others if a furniture topic of conversation arises.

I wouldn't be surprised if a national news channel or class action lawsuit happened in the future of Ashley furniture.

I wish my daughter had conducted a search of Ashley Furniture reviews before her purchase. The reviews are so bad I can’t believe the doors are still open to this business across the United States

Poor quality furniture, they spin all type of explanation to not honor their so call warranty. Poor customer relation in all phase. Buy from them at your own risk, unless you just need disposal furniture.
