I am in a similar situation! We had a whole bedroom set and mattress delivered.

I came home from work a few hours later and could barely breath coming up the stairs to the bedroom, the smell and my reaction was so bad. The independent dealer did come back 3 days later to move all the furniture to the garage, but it was too late. The chemicals must have attached to the carpet and now 3 weeks later, I am still sick. Migraines, burning face, asthma/hard to breath, brain fog, etc.

We keep the door closed with an IQair purifier, but it's still affecting my health! :-( I even talked to corporate. No help there... the seller is making it difficult to return due to their return policy.

25% restock fee and only store credit. Not sure what to do next.

I am dealing with the same issue. Bought 3 leather sofas 2 years ago.

The leather is peeling and paint cracking. Insurance does not cover as it’s a “manufacturing defect” and Ashley does not cover because the sofas are 2 years old. Net, los over $3000.

Bought leather sofas because they were supposed to last more… terrible experience. Pure junk!

Poor Customer Service

I wish you can give a negative ten. I would give my left arm to return my furniture and go else where. I do intend to go on every social media site and post my experience!!! The worst customer service there is. Don't waste money if anything goes wrong they will avoid you at any cost!!! Sofa is only two weeks old and we can not sit on it!!!

I am not getting my refund back .

I ordered furniture from Auburn location location and paid gull amount. But week later I change my mind and canceled my order. They asked me to come the store So that can refund my money in the card. I went there twice, call them several times, that are are saying their system is not working. And it is now more than 10 days.

Ashley Furniture sent me a check for the value of my purchase. I would like to say that the quality of the furniture is very poor and I say this because Im still dealing with a piece of furniture that is in bad condition. Delivery is reliable.

NO INFORMATION

After waiting 5 months for our couches we were advised they would be delivered today. On *** I was told the order will not be delivered today. Cust svc agent was unclear as to why and had no real information about our order. In fact the only proactive communication from Ashley was last Monday from the store but the store is not answering and hasn't called back. We previously had to drive to the store, 1/2 hour away, to get any communication from the store.

About a cancelled order and money back

Bought furniture in Ashley store in Brownsville back in August with the promise that will be delivered on October 1st, and I was told by the manager that couldn't be possible and after extensive argument I came back on Monday, October 4th to cancel my order and get my money back. I was told by corporate and by the store manager that by October 13 will receive a check of $5024.00, but I haven't received it yet.

Extended Warranty means nothing.

I bought a couch with two recliners from them about 21/2 years ago. I paid an extra $99 at the time of purchase for a 5 year extended warranty. After one year the material on the recliner that I sit in looked like it was worn out. I filed a warranty claim for this and they would not do anything about it. After two years two bolts snapped off under the recliner that I sit in and the front of the seat is know sagging down. So after two years the material is worn out and the front is sagging down and so I filed another warranty claim for the snapped off bolts and they would not do anything about this. What ever it is, the warranty does not seem to cover it!

User's recommendation: Do not buy anything from Ashley Furniture Stores. They use inferior products and will not fix anything.

I want to get a copy of the paper with my information what I signed under pressure. I also want to have the name of the furniture what I wanted to buy with check, in order to be able to buy it in another Ashley store.

Bad communication

When I purchased the furniture, I was told they would deliver it on 10/28/21. I just find out it is in back order until next year. Nobody took the time and inform me about it. I find out because I called to find out what was the status. VERY DISSATISFIED!
