My wife and I bought several pieces of new furniture for a house we were having built worth over $12k before discounts. The salesman and store manager (store on rt. 40 near Baltimore) said we can have it delivered once the house was completed and we can return any items. Once we took delivery, they neglected to mention we only had 72 hours to return the items and made it seem we can still return after several days. We wanted to exchange a small console table and I contacted the store and spoke to the manager and he denied my exchange (we wanted store credit) and stated the reason he would not do anything for us was due to a "bed bugs" law. I looked up their return policy and it clearly states they will take items back within 30 days if the customer is not satisfied - see attached photo. I then tried calling their corporate customer service and after several emails and phone calls, a corporate manager stated that she would not be able to do more for me, even though their website states returns are accepted within 30 days. All we wanted was store credit as we loved every other piece of furniture; however, we will never purchase anything again from Ashley Furniture and will inform all our friends and family via social media about how they do not follow corporate policy and how the store manager flat out lies.

We had exactly the same experience. What we were told is 100% leather is not!

Several class action lawsuits were started and then discontinued and I don't really know why. However we were able to get partial reimbursement by contacting Ashley Furniture Consumer Affairs at CAgroup@ashleyfurniture.com. You will need pictures of the peeling furniture, pictures of the stickers underneath the furniture, and your sales receipt.

We're still not happy about the situation but at least they gave us something! What bothers me most is that Ashley continues to advertise this junk as being 100% genuine leather.

I ordered a bedroom set online. They clearly show 2 options one for shipping address and one for billing address. I have a P.O. Box since mail doesn’t arrive at my home. They billed my card but have yet to return the funds to the card since they are now claiming an issue has happened with my Shipping and billing address. About a month and a half ago I spent 2.6k in the store and they forgot to deliver a shelf. That has also been on hold for a month!!! I will never buy from them again. I have been given the run around on returning the funds to my card back and fourth with them. DO NOT USE THEM YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!

Nothing on website is in store. Sales rep stated could order it and have it delivered in 6-8 weeks. I would't be at the store for furniture if I could wait 6-8 weeks!!! Rep follows you around the store not giving you time to choose anything.

I purchased some furniture, which I am happy with, and used the Ashley Credit Card for the 60 month no Interest Plan. The salesman told me that I had to purchase the Protection Plan that Ashley was required to add to my bill since it was being purchased on the Ashley Card by Synchrony Bank. I called the credit card issuer and they said I was not required to have it. I called Ashley to remove it, then directed to call the Protection Insurance Company and wait 7 days. It has now been more than a week and there is no credit to the amount. Called Ashley Customer care today, and told to call back after 5 to speak with someone else. This is ridiculous.
