Check the fabric before buying!! | Ashley Furniture review

Details
I purchased a sectional with a lounger on one end and a cuddler on the other. The fabric is horrible. It is all pilling and they don't care! Told me to go buy a sweater shaver! The cuddler fabric is cut on the bias and is stretched with a big bulge. They replaced that cushion cover and now the fabric doesn't match the rest of the sectional! Wish I had never purchased!

I purchased a new couch and it was delivered by two gentlemen that spoke on English. So the couch is faulty and I have tried to contact Ashley customer care several times . I stay on hold for 20 minutes and then get disconnected. This will be my last purchase with Ashleys.

Recliner order on 10/26/19 and was told to call and schedule delivery. I call and scheduled delivery for 12/11/19, Ashley called and gave me a number to call to confirm delivery, I called and confirmed delivery on a recorded line for 12/11/19 between 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm. At 7:pm I called and they said the truck had been delayed and they were looking at 9:30 pm. I never got a phone call or email or nothing just didn't show up. I called the next day and they said sorry for your loss, and by the way, the next date that we can deliver your recliner is 01/19/2020. The recliner was ordered back on 10/26/19, it's not like I can get my money back. THIS IS BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

spent 22K last year on furniture here. 4 weeks ago the bed rail screws pulled out of the rail collapsing the bed I bought. by the time I gave on trying to reach them on the phone I went to the store and was told it was 2 days out of warranty. filed a claim with GBS their 5 yr warranty plan and was told it was a manufacturer defect and did not qualify to be repaired. Over a $110 bed rail they have lost me as a customer and I would never recommend them. somewhere in the story the manager basically called me a liar but I am not going to spend any more time describing this nightmare

Purchasing and ordering on line where smooth; however, when it comes to returning items, the process is arduous. I spent an hour on the phone, with holds and multiple transfers. With this; I won't order from Ashley Furniture in the future and will make sure that I foreworn friends and family how difficult and time consuming the process is; as well as post on all social medias with regards.
