In April 2016, I purchased furniture from Ashley Furniture Store in Richmond Virginia. The sofa was delivered damaged, and the company would not refund my money or give me a new sofa.

The foot of the sofa broke off upon delivery and they wanted to repair it; I did not pay for refurbished furniture. My attempt at legal recourse was hampered by distance and a system that is rigged in the company's favor.

You have to file complaints in Fredericksburg Virginia and it was difficult to identify who the plaintiff was (TT&C 1, LLC). You are forced to sign a contract in which the fine print is designed to defraud and not hold the company accountable for dishonest and damaged goods sells.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $700.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I didn't like: Poor quality, Customer support after buying things, Fraudulent practices and unreasonable contract.
