Purchased the 10pc living room set special in 2013, started experiencing issues with the chair in 2016 and called Guardian the extended warranty and was rudely told they dont cover 'normal wear and tear' - basically the warranty is a waste of money so do not get suckered into it. The sales person gets a commission and you get nothing in return. I was told to go back to Ashley and persue my complait with them.

I had to stay on top of them every step of the way because someone would 'forget' to tell me that there was more information they needed

Thank goodness I saved my original receipt!

Their final resolution is I get 50% of the total I spent for the 3 peices that are falling apart in store credit at the store I purchased them from and is good for only 90days.

I guess something is better than nothing

Similar experience. Warranty covers "accidental" damage to the furniture "at their discretion". Warranty does not cover peeling due to poor quality.
