I will never buy from Ashley Furniture HomeStore again. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with any company. How can a company have such horrible customer service? We bought two recliners. They had a limited warranty on the springs. We had two springs that broke in one of the chairs. We called customer service they said they would send someone out for $87.00 to inspect and see if it was a manufacturing defect. I said, I only wanted the two springs, I did not need them installed. I made a purchase ($2k) about 2 weeks ago not realizing an upcoming emergency at home that we need money for. Contacted Ashley's furniture via telephone and in-store to cancel my order and was told I was stuck with the order regardless of any life and death emergency. The delivery was cancelled due to the order cancellation being on pending. Then I got a call saying there was nothing they could do about it and that I was stuck with the purchase... Read more

I picked up my bedroom set and there was very noticable damage. I called customer service to report the damage and I was told that a agent would contact me. I was contacted and I was asked to take pictures of the damages. I sent the pictures to customer service; however they stated they never received them so they closed my case. Nov 29 Couch frame broke. Nov 30 Called store customer service. She asked me to email pictures to show her technician to see if covered by factory warranty. Said it would take a couple of days. Sent pictures. Dec 3 Received call saying not covered by factory warrantee. Gave me number for Montage. Called Montage to make a claim. They have no record of purchase. I spent almost 4000.00 dollars in the store in north little rock. The couch and recliner I bought fell apart within 2 months. It has taken 4 mos and counting for credit on couch. Do not buy from hanks. Once they have your money its all over with. I even bought the warranty. The recliner was not delivered but I was told it looks like in their computer that it was delivered. I bought furniture & was suppose to get delivered the day they told me. I got off work that day & they never showed up! I WAS PISSED! Not ONLY that the day they delivered me my furniture IT WAS DAMAGED!! I tried calling the drivers back not even 5 min, they didn't even respond!! I went in to purchase 2 couches the first weekend in March. I wanted to purchase the chair and ottaman as well but they were not even willing to work it a deal for me. Our salesman told me AFTER I paid CASH for the couches it would be 2 weeks before they could deliver but that would be at the worst case scerario. 2 WEEKS LATER he calls me and says I am so sorry but it will be the last part of March but I have refunded HALF of the delivery... The Ashley Furniture Store in Pflugerville, TX is guilty of lying to customers to make a sale, and then management refusing to correct it. I bought a table with chairs at their store from a sales rep named Marquesa.
