Ashley Furniture - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - WARRANTY STINKS!
Agreed 100%!! We were victims of this on 2 different couches that we bought from Ashley.
The latest was a couch we bought that continues to ball, then separate and tear! We called Ashley several times before the 1 year was up and they told us "balling like a sweater isn't a manufacturer issue". They recommended we buy a $10.00 sweater shaver to fix the problem - saying it will eventually stop. (That has NOT been the case.) Two calls later - they said we were no longer under the one year warranty and pushed us off to the 5 year warranty plan which we haven't been successful with because of the "timing" of the issues.
This IS NOT a wear and tear issue.
This couch is 1 year old and just sitting on a couch shouldn't make the material ball up, then snag and ultimately rip!
We will NEVER purchase another piece of furniture from Ashley. I'd rather spend 1/2 the money on a couch at another retail store if I'm going to end up giving it to goodwill in a year anyway!
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Monetary Loss: $2300.
Preferred solution: Price credit toward a new couch because the quality on this couch is awful!.
