The furniture came in on 6/27. I ask when they could deliver it, they were unsure when the delivery schedule for New Castle was from the warehouse.
I decided to pick the furniture myself on 6/28 , so I would have it for the holiday, however when we got home it was the wrong color. I know things happen, ok I thought Ashley would own up to their mistake. As a customer this is what I assume would happen. Sorry for your inconvenience we will order you the correct color and deliver it no charge and make arrangements to pick up the WRONG FURNITURE as soon as possible.
However, I was feed lie after lie. It is 2 days before the Holiday they refuse to pick up the furniture. I was told by the Store manager that they already order my new furniture . I want to the Bear Store on yesterday and spoke to manager and her manger to follow up to make sure this would be resolved by 7/4 he told her he would talk to the owners for her to call him mid day today 7/2 .
I called again to follow up because I didn't hear from either one of them. However my account notes said WILL NOT ORDER NEW FURNITURE UNITL THE CUSTOMER RETURNS WRONG FURNITURE BY THE 7/4 ( STORE MANAGER) at this point I called the store manager and said this is unacceptable. I will bring the furniture back, however I would like a refund. The store manager informed me that I couldn't get a refund even through they haven't order the correct furniture yet.
I really believed Ashley furniture was trust worthy company, maybe it is the branch, managers or sales personal that make this such a distasteful store. Please don't ever buy anything from Ashley Furniture Stores without reading reviews. I am taking the furniture back on7/3 paying again.
I will write other review on that experience and another review when I receive the correct furniture. This is how I spent my 4th of July vacation.
