In August 2020 I ordered a chair and ottoman, as well as five bar stools from Ashley Furniture in Kennewick WA. It took them until October to deliver the chair and ottoman with a promise that the barstools would arrive in early November.
When we did not receive any notification from them by the second week in November, we contacted the store and were told that the barstools were delayed but should be in by Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving weekend we contacted the store again as we had heard nothing from them. Again we were told that the shipment was delayed and would be in by no later than December 10th or 12th. We waited one more time and heard nothing from them by the 12th, so we called again and now the barstools would not be in until the 21st and could not be delivered until the 24th.
The next day we went to the store asking them if we could just pick them up on the 21st instead of having them delivered, so we could get them before the 24th when all our family would be here. It was at this time that the lady at the counter informed us that the stool was discontinued and was not even on its way. They said we could wait until January, and maybe they would start making it again.
I asked why couldn't someone have told us this before now. Since they now had sat on my money for four months.
She stated she did not know why they had not told us but offered a refund. We took the refund without really looking at it and left. The next several days we checked our bank account for the refund and nothing showed up. We contacted the store several days later about the refund and they stated that the lady had made a mistake and had refunded too much to our account so she had canceled the refund.
She did not correct it, she just canceled it and again no one contacted us.
This place is filled with the most inept customer service and borders on fraud! I will never shop here again!!!

Monetary Loss: $815.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
